Removing Russian Oreshniks and nuclear ballistic missiles from Belarus might not be a good idea, regardless of the outcome of any US-Russia detent over Ukraine, because as President Putin has said, Russia has reached a point ceding ground all these years, whence it can no longer retreat any further. Belarus and Russia are one single union state, and removal of Russian missiles from Belarus had not even been on the cards at the time of when the NATO-Russia founding Act had been originally conceived. It is noteworthy that the West had tricked Russia into entering a treaty banning the deployment of intermediate range ballistic missiles in much of the European part of Russia's land mass, but then the EU and Britain circumvented their own obligations under this treaty not only by deploying short to intermediate range missiles directly in Russia's immediate vicinity in Ukraine but also firing them at targets on the Russian mainland in plain acts of unprovoked aggression.

Russia and the USA had agreed in the late 1980's to stop arming their respective clients in Afghanistan as a so called "de-escalation" or confidence - building measure that could presage a more comprehensive detente over time. However, the USA and its European allies continued to arm their Mujahideen proxies based in Pakistan not only with light armaments, grenades, short range remote fired missiles, bazookas and Stinger missiles, but also very heavy equipment such as modern tanks and armoured personnel carriers which enabled the Mujahideen to launch an overt overland invasion of Afghanistan from Pakistan soon after, culminating in the capture and hanging of the Afghan President who was ideologically aligned with Russia. History shows that Russia has always been deceived and shortchanged and been the big time loser from any treaty signed with the west.

Any US-Russia bilateral treaty notwithstanding, American-manufactured warplanes and missiles will keep entering Poland and Romania in Russia's immediate environs under the banner of German and French military bases respectively; the quantum of military power amassed in this way will soon surpass anything that could have been envisaged beneath a Nato banner under overt American aegis. Russia has to race against time and arm itself as best as it can in face of existential threat from civilisational enemies. The leopard does not change its spots. Nato warmongers are plunging Europe into Armageddon and much of the public inebriated or dazed by an oligarchist-globalist mass media has no idea of the actual implications of nuclear war with megaton bombs.

"... Germany’s new permanent military base in Lithuania, however, as well as the prospect of a permanent British base in Estonia and French one in Romania...."

The establishment of new military bases by Germany, United Kingdom and France is absolutely reprehensible as such "strategies" will prevent any realistic progress by USA or anyone else to assist Russia to establish peace in Ukraine (whatever the terms may be). It is also ludicrous that Germany, Britain and France are under no threat of invasion by anyone. I presume that the politicians and strategists who promote this fiasco feel personally safe as they will be 1000's of kms away from any battlefield action. Oh, wait a minute, maybe that does not exclude the possibility of Oreschnik missiles being employed as a defensive response from a nation east of Europe.
