China, Russia, And The US All Coincidentally Reaffirmed Their Intentions On The Same Day

The fact that all three of them reaffirmed their approach to International Relations on the same day is what makes 27 October so historic. Far from being the so-called “destabilizing threats” that the US never tires of falsely portraying them as, China and Russia actually aim to stabilize the global systemic transition to multipolarity. This is the opposite of America’s approach, which openly aims to destabilize that selfsame transition.

27 October will be seen in hindsight as a pivotal day in an equally pivotal year whereby China, Russia, and the US all reaffirmed their intentions to the world. 2022 is thus far shaping up to be moment when the global systemic transition to multipolarity became undeniable to all objective observers. Russia’s special operation in Ukraine and the US-led West’s unprecedented response to it accelerated these complex processes that predate that sequence of events and set the stage for Thursday’s events.

On that day, Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a message to the annual Gala Dinner of the National Committee on US-China Relations that “China stands ready to work with the United States to find the right way to get along with each other in the new era on the basis of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation.” This was followed by Russian President Vladimir Putin giving a keynote speech at the Valdai Club’s plenary meeting and answering questions afterwards.

He declared that “In current circumstances of brutal conflict - I will say some things straight - Russia, being an independent, self-sufficient civilization, has never considered and does not consider itself an enemy of the West.” Coincidentally, the US also published its National Defense Strategy (NDS) later that same day, which placed both China and Russia in that declining unipolar hegemon’s military crosshairs. As can be seen, those two want peace and cooperation while America wants to continue saber-rattling.

The contrast between their intentions couldn’t be clearer, and the fact that all three of them reaffirmed their approach to International Relations on the same day is what makes 27 October so historic. This is the opposite of America’s approach, which openly aims to destabilize that selfsame transition.

Nevertheless, the US’ perception managers have sought to reverse the roles of victims and villains by manipulating their targeted audience across the world. To this end, they introduced the “rules-based order” concept, which is really nothing but the arbitrary implementation of double standards aimed at advancing America’s grand strategic interests at everyone’s expense. It’s inherently hegemonic and relies entirely on misleading people into thinking that its views on everything are universal.

The truth is that there exists a diversity of views in the world and all are equal except those that promote bigotry, colonialism, fascism, hegemony, and imperialism. Regrettably, it’s precisely those five concepts that are inextricably tied to rhetoric about the “rules-based order”. Those who support this worldview deny the right of other models – be they economic, political, socio-cultural, or whatever else – to exist, implying that they’re on a “civilizing mission” to change them against their people’s will.

This discredited supremacist mindset deserves to remain in the dustbin of history but has unfortunately been revived by the US out of desperation to indefinitely delay its inevitably declining unipolar hegemony. This explains why it falsely claims that China and Russia are threats to its national security despite those two major multipolar countries being among the world’s most valuable assets for ensuring that the global systemic transition to multipolar remains as stable as possible.

Therein lies the reason why they’re targeted, however, precisely because the US fiercely hates that they represent successful examples of alternative economic, political, and socio-cultural models whose very existence discredits America’s supremacist innuendo that its own such models are universal. Instead of respecting their right to exist, the US aggressively seeks to snuff them out, ergo why they’re prominently placed in the military crosshairs of its latest NDS.

Everyone should remember that this policy document was released on the same day that the Chinese and Russian leaders reaffirmed their intentions to peacefully coexist with the US-led West so long as their countries are treated as equals with the respect that they’re entitled to by the UN Charter. The US arrogantly refuses to do this, which is what’s really destabilizing the global systemic transition to multipolarity at its most sensitive moment thus far, not China or Russia’s pragmatic worldviews.
