Thanks for sharing these interesting and well informed articles.

As far as we know, Pakistan is not especially well endowed with the particular ‘strategic’ mineral resources that are the current focus of attention for China and the United States.

The country has fairly large reserves of base metals and other minerals, but these are very widely distributed in easier to deal with and safer countries than Pakistan, and are in many cases of higher quality and closer to existing transport facilities.

Perhaps there’s something else going on here, and this is all part of a much larger picture.

You can call me paranoid but I am getting a bit suspicious here. The US has these literally endless hunting grounds for rare earth minerals in Canada, Greenland and many other locations and they keep finding these metals in geopolitically sensitive areas like Pakistan, Ukraine and Congo. Of course an entry and development into these markets will necessarily open opportunities to corrupt, bribe and change the governments there. And all it takes is to print money which is rather inexpensive.

The other one is the case of the hypersonic missiles. From North Korea to Russia, China and their grandma, everybody is happily flying them but the US. Something tells me that America is hiding something.
