Good one, Andrew. I've got friends in opposition parties in Yerevan, and have done many shows with them about what you have analyzed. They both agree that the population seems to be apathetic about what is happening, so your argument that the hardliners might argue, then it’s better to radically speed everything up in the hopes that shocking Armenians might get them to resist instead of letting it slowly unfold till it’s too late to reverse.

I'm also surprised somewhat that the Armenian Apostolic Church has seemingly been uninvolved even when their senior bishops have been detained. The majority of Armenians are members of this ancient Christian Church dating back to the first century AD, and they for sure would be persuceted if Pashinyan wins.

Armenisa is a small Christan country living amidst a lagre Muslim population. Armenia knows that Russia is a super power and will never part ways with Russia, their BIG brother.
