Belarus’ KGB chief recently claimed to have “reached an understanding of mutual interests” with Poland “in some cases” to the surprise of many observers.
Why would any Belorussian politician or KBG agent in their right mind consider rapprochement with either the current US regime or any US proxy nation? USA is solely determined to disrupt and destroy Russia and any nation aligned with it. USA bargains only on a "win - win" basis whereby negotiations always benefit USA to the ultimate detriment of the interlocutor. Witness any Caribbean nation that has suffered a "color change" revolution at the hands of US agency interference since 1945. Ukraine? The evidence is clear.
There may be economic and political benefits for Belarus and Russia from rapprochement. I don't think there is a danger of Lukashenko suddenly developing unconditional trust in the USA or EU.
It's possible too that some Russia friendly countries play this ambiguous game to make USA and minions uncover the complete scale of ways to attract them.

I think that that Russian services like this kind of method . I remain convinced that the game Prigozin played was to unmask the traitors in chain of command and lure Ukrainian and NATO to launch suicidal offensive toward Melitopol. It would have succeed, like Guderian AT Sedan in 1940 , if traitors among the chain of command had disorganized and demoralised their own troops.
Seems to me Belarus is acting as a stalking horse, or lure, for Russia to assess the US real intentions. For example the lifting of sanctions on Belavia was performance and has not yet led to resumption of flights from Minsk to the US. Since the Minsk Agreements were never upheld the Western nations will have to take more positive actions to demonstrate intent and political will.
The Minsk Agreements were never meant to be signed or activated. Boris Johnson was the US sponsored patsy who followed Merkel and Hollande's ploy to delay and confound Putin's plan to neutralise the Donbas. They under-estimated Putin's resolve. Ukraine suffers as a result of this perfidy.
Byelowrus will never leave Russia and align with Poland. First Poland has been enemies of Ukraine & Bye;lorus for centuries. Byelorus has many things in common withe Russia, Orthodox religion, alphabet, language, history. Poland trying to reestablish their empire is a "pipe dream"" nonsense.
