The EU hates Orban. Yet, Hungary is cleaner and safer than Germany. Hungary focuses on families and not immigrants who won't work or on the LGBTQ community which represents less than 1 percent of the population. They hate Orban because he is doing more right than wrong.

Honestly though in 200 years some African kids will read about the Western civilization and how it ended because nobody had babies anymore, just like I read about the fall of the Romans and Greek in school. It started with endless wars, Ukraine and Gaza. That's if civilization will still exist in 200 years.

The Hungarian economy is weak but it has never been lot stronger either. The actual data released by government agencies is tainted just like it always was in the communist era. Nationalists are complaining about the well paid jobs, business opportunities going to a certain (((minority))) centered in the Budapest area. The realistic view of the economy comes from the birthrates as those have a tendency of never lying. For the whole country the rates are 1.4/women of childbearing age. The well considered opinion of demography calls this tragically low, well below the replacement level. If we add that the gypsy population has an at least 2.5 or maybe 3.0 childbirth rate and there are over a million gypsies in Hungary, obviously the Hungarians’ birthrate is even lower than 1.4 and that is a demographic collapse in the making.

Still, the likelihood that Peter Magyar and his EU financed Tisza Party can overcome the FIDESZ structure built by Orban is very low presently. Orban is operating with the promise of keeping the country out of the war in Ukraine. Peter Magyar cannot afford to do this as his paychecks would be cut off by Brussels immediately. If I was in Orban's place I would be very-very careful, thinking about the sad event that played out around PM Robert Fico of Slovakia.

I would not trust Vučić for 1 second as his work is excellently directed by the Perfidious Albion.

His rule saw greatest and persistent crumbling of Serbia's sovereignty, one tiny little unobservable crumble at the time, often behind the scene of some distraction.. Even the current semi-colour revolution is a distraction which was not wasted and further removal of Serbian structures in its occupied province just got accelerated whilst he pretends to be the saviour. The so called opposition actually has an active role in causing/supporting these distractions as well as to muddy up the waters to the detriment of the common plebs.

Fico and Orban are the real McCoy, Vucic is just a good and obedient actor sitting on many chairs. Both of them (and Putin) probably tolerate Vučić only as a lesser evil. Real nationalists are overwhelmed by the level of westies propaganda in Servia, unseen at this level elsewhere in the world. They will be able to rise only after westies become unable to continue as their own problems begin to grow. Fingers crossed, this will be soon.

Hungary did something EVERY nation should do. Kick Soros out and his Open Society foundation. He and his offspring run around the globe giving money to every left wing cause and have been paramount to every problem open borders have caused. Hungary had big problems before Orban was elected but his first order of business was to throw Soros ( who is Hungarian) out and they have lived in peace ever since and their economy has hummed along just about as good as it can. The streets are clean and the unrest that used to plague the country have stopped. Soros and his WEF asshole buddies are losing grip as many countries are seeing how these open borders are destroying their lives.

Who are "the Europeans", in practical terms? The EU has no army, no security services, no spies. By what mechanism does Brussels enact intervention policies? Is it French and German security services? Do the Dutch, Swedes and the Danes help, or keep their heads down to avoid business interruptions? This is a key question.

We have a good idea which European countries cooperated on Nordstream, which was in effect an act of war against Germany. Another key question if confirming who exactly did what

These EU sovereign interferences are also acts of aggression, and against the UN charter. It seems to me that the states behind the Key Questions determine whether this is Elites Vs Popolo, or another European civil war.

Money talks. Big money talks big. EU and its key members France, Belgium and Germany fund most of the subversive activities. Some of it goes against Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia, some against Israeli government, and a big part against the current US government. For example, EU wants to flip the House and the Senate in the US, so they could start impeachment proceedings against Trump again.

Please...The phrase is "TOE the Line"

not 'TOW the Line'....please look it up as the meaning is quite different.

barnabus's avatar

Homophonic but with different meanings. Tow means to pull away, toe the line means putting toes (ie foot digits) on the line and not beyond the line. Metaphorically, it means aligning oneself with the general policy. Unfortunately, in the US, K-12 is in a poor state, so concepts like homophonicity are not brought over.

yes I know this. Was I not clear?

Sure. I just posted it because sometimes Andrew reads down the thread too...

Once upon a time the west's regime-change templates represented a more-or-less carefully thought-out plan for a directional change in the targeted country, over the long haul. The leader would have to be deposed, yes; but if reforms did not quickly satisfy the population that change would bring benefits, he'd just be voted right back in again unless he was rubbed out in the coup.

The west doesn't have the time or the money for that kind of investment now, and its regime-change efforts look more like a jewelry store smash-and-grab; get in, make a quick snatch at the prize and get out before the cops come. They're not foundations for development of western values, but spoiling skirmishes focused on permanent instability. The opposition figures the west would now like to capture and bend to their service now are either too honest to go for such a transparent scam - knowing it will result in later discredit when their associations are revealed - or too stupid to get elected anyway.

I wrote this to my buddy @tony Ledsham but decided to drop it here as well:

“Serbia (unlike Hungary which is in the EU) is a small landlocked country that’s trying to be a sovereign nation while surrounded by the EU.

Unlike Switzerland (Swiss banks hold European capital), Serbia doesn’t have any control or influence over the EU which historically tends to be extremely hostile towards tiny Serbia for daring to say - fuck you.

Hence, Serbia is forced to dance bn mighty Russia and the ever more belligerent EU.

The only time, Serbia was left alone was the period bn 9/11 (nato got a new “priority” see Wesley Clark’s interview about the 7 ME targets for regime change) and Biden’s regime which withdrew the U.S. from Afghanistan to prepare us for war with Russia and then China.

So, Vucic ain’t bad. He isn’t my favorite (he’s a fruity fruitcake) but few understand how hard it is to maintain independence while being surrounded by enemy alliances and economic embargos.

Besides, tiny Serbia is occupied by Soros’ Open Society NGOs and USAID. In addition, there is no border regime bn Serbia and EU allowing hostile and yet docile foreign elements to enter and exit at will in order to instigate conflicts, revolts and regime change operations from within.

Throw in the mix and the traditional enemy-the Ottomans, Serbia is surrounded by trifecta of enemies - the 3rd is their own Muslim and Albanian minorities which are radicalized by the Muslim Brotherhood with funding from Riyadh.

But they are tough.

They have been around for 1,000 years and ain’t going anywhere. Fiercely independent. Orthodox. Traditional people. Family- first. State - second.

Historically, they have always waged war for survival. Stuck bn the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) empire, Bulgarian Empire and later the Ottoman and AustroHungarian empires of the Hubsburgs, it sucks to be Serbia. Truly.

The war against Yugoslavia was anything but fair.

The economic embargos crashed them preventing their formidable defense capabilities but they survived- NATO’s plan to invade from Hungary collapsed due to fear. The Hungarians didn’t allow incursion from the north and NATO ended up bombing from Italy and the Adriatic.

I’m sure the Russians understand that and although complaining (weapons exports, etc.), currently they are 600,000 Russians who have moved to Serbia. Most of them big city liberal elites who got out before the UkroWar started.”
