Sergey Lavrov gave the best speech I've ever heard from a diplomat, (of which we've never had one in our state department in my lifetime) and the world would be better off if all citizens here would listen to it. He captures the US totally in this great speech. Russia is a far superior country to this combo of US/Israel insanity.
Good summary Andrew, thank you. I feel that the chances of the Imperialist West changing its course are pretty remote. They know they are losing their empire and have no alternative but to create as much chaos as possible in the hope that the other side will either concede or follow these corrupt western leaders down the tube.
When my sister understands what's going on and the risks being taken in this nonsensical war, you can be sure many Americans are aware. Many of us are completely fed up of the constant war and war mongering and the destruction of American leadership and, as much as we do support Trump, we're extremely concerned about his support of Israel. We are hoping and trusting that Trump's position is political posturing to gain support needed to win. If Trump is killed or they massively cheat (again) to prevent him from winning, well, many of us are preparing for the worst possible outcomes. Believe me, we know Russia is not responsible for this disaster.

The thing is: Regular people have little interest in the conflict. The people in power do, and they already know Lavrov’s stance.
