China is currently living through a tragedy, foreseeable for decades, and one that will only grow worse.

The one-child policy produced a nation of only children.

That is, people raised with total attention to turn them into success machines, whatever they do—tech, military, crafts, business, sports. So, inevitably brilliant people.

But it also produces people who have absolutely no notion of brotherhood, transactional discipline, self-denial, or tact. A nation of only children: egocentric, brutal, selfish, asocial.

And that is exactly what we see in its diplomacy—an only child incapable of understanding the concept of a "shield wall."

India is something else. It is a completely artificial country, a sort of colonial Frankenstein. Nothing forged a common past there except the trauma of colonization and that of decolonization. A country with no shared narrative of its own. A country torn apart by utterly different cultures, different languages, different and even hostile religions. A country sickened and discouraged by decades of the most abject corruption and appropriation, as in every decolonization.

A country drained of its brightest elements by mass emigration, who today form a haughty diaspora of nouveau riches demanding that India adopt an attitude in line with their interests, not those of the country.

It is not even a nation. It is a sort of protean blob, capable of signing a declaration in February, signing an exactly opposite one in August, and returning to the first in December.

They will not succeed against a disciplined alliance.

Russia could save them, but they are too obsessed with themselves to want to listen to it, let alone help it decisively.

So Putin sends a warning via Lukashenko, to wake up the spoiled success-obsessed child and the obese grocer.

A time will come when Russia will play its lesser evil.

The main common interests that India and China have involve subverting American sanctions and attempting to maintain trade with Russia and Iran. The Chinese do not want to go too far against the West due to their issue of overcapacity that requires western export markets.

Meanwhile the Indian government is busy with their own internal reforms and are attempting to boost investment along with r&d. Given this, BRICS may simply just be a platform to bypass western financial sanctions and blunt American control of Financial Networks rather than making a bid for Multipolarity
