Ukrainian nationalists are still adamantly opposed to the scenario of ceding Donbass to Russia, but the problem is that they themselves don’t want to fight to retain it, thus exposing their hypocrisy.

I have heard over the past several years variations of the TCC being staffed by nationalists from groups like Right Sektor / Azor, under control of those nationalist groups, or at least a large percentage of active TCC officers being from those groups or otherwise being right-wing nationalists.
It seems odd that Russia isn’t exploiting the anti-conscription mood within Ukraine by targeting the offices of the TCC or supplying weapons to the ‘resistance’ movements.
The TCC holds conscripts in their offices, so striking them would be counter-productive. I think many of their offices were police stations before the SMO. In Ukraine / Belarus / Russia, most neighborhoods have these stations - there's a lot of them. You rarely see police except coming and going to work from their apartments - occasionally they drive through on routine patrol but it isn't very often. But when there's a call of a crime, they're at the scene really fast - within a couple of minutes. It's a "community policing" idea and police don't spend their time driving around a large area waiting for calls to come in and looking for suspicious behavior, like Anglo-country law enforcement. Each station is also relatively small in size in terms of staff.
Those small police stations have detention space - enough maybe for a half dozen people to be secured in rooms while in custody. I've seen a lot of photos and video of the inside of the TCC "recruitment centers" over the years on Telegram, and this is what it appears to be to me. So striking a TCC center would be immediately repurposed as propaganda against Russia. There are also almost always crowds of women with small children outside the TCC center doors - trying to get information on their husbands, sons, etc.
Ukraine (particularly Budanov's security service) has repeatedly accused Russia of trying to propagandize the TCC process against the Kiev government. They claim all the time on the 24/7 single media program that now runs on all TV channels in Ukraine (the Telethon, produced by Zelensky's media company) that the huge number of TCC abuses shared on Telegram (with new and ever more outrageous ones posted almost every day for years now) that they're AI fakes created by Russia.
I follow some of the Ukrainian Telegram channels that aggregate these abuse videos. They're probably a Russian effort (the Ukrainian authorities claim so but can't block them). Every town, village, and city neighborhood in Ukraine has its own local interest channels on Telegrams - for things like bus routes changing, lost cat postings, etc. A lot of the videos about TCC mobilizations start out on the local interest channels, posted by people who film it on their phones (which has become pretty automatic whenever someone is recruited - usually multiple videos of the same incident get posted to different neighborhood channels, often after being shared within close friend groups and reposted by one of them).
I haven't kept any track of stuff I've seen. It seems like it runs in waves - obviously some new directive comes out of Bankova in Kiev and gets dissipated across the country. Some I remember:
- TCC started staying in normal residential apartments, and ordering food delivery like pizza. Then they'd recruit the delivery person when he showed up at the door.
- TCC many times mobilized someone walking their dog, and just leaves the animal stranded on the street.
- TCC has many times mobilized someone who has elementary aged or younger children in the car, and they just leave the kids alone in the car while taking the male driver away. It's happened a number of times out in the middle of the country when someone was driving between towns, so the children are stranded in a field kilometers away from any settlements.
- TCC seriously injuring someone when "recruiting" them, often with obvious potentially fatal injuries, and instead of calling an ambulance, they stuff them in the recruitment van.
- TCC calling in emergencies to the ambulance services, and then recruiting the paramedics and driver when they show up.
- TCC pulling people out of ambulances that are being driven to a hospital for treatment for life-threatening injuries, and stuffing them in recruitment vans.
I wish now I'd kept a good list of that stuff. It just kept getting more and more absurd. I remember when the TCC started wearing full face masks (scarfs around the mouth and nose, caps pulled low). They're still doing that. They know they're going to swing by the neck when the war is over and the troops return home.
As long as the police and army continue to follow orders (and these incidents have been taking place literally for years) the regime has nothing to fear

People keep denying that Ukraine is running out of men, but if the TCC is working Lwow and the Nationalists are refusing to fight on the frontline, then running out of me they are.
It is all much closer to the end than anyone has dared say, and has been for some time.
Russia would not have been able to pick off Krasny Liman and Konstantinovka so quickly if Ukraine had 2025 level of forces let along 2023.

Here in UK for example it would cause all kinds or troubles. Starting with interviews on TV with Ukrainians who start to tell it like it is "my husband would surely die, Russia have been kicking us senseless for 4 years." Simple honest stuff but no one has said that on TV or Radio yet.

Nobody is europe or the US cares, as long as the methods work and the army keeps fighting.
Nobody will ask them what they think or like or want, any more than a farmer asks his cattle whether they want to be hamburgers or steaks.
