Ugh. The continent of Africa spent decades getting rid of their colonialists and here they are still having to suffer and rebuff their continual interference.

Looking at JNIM, and especially the salafist background of its leader Iyad Ag Ghali, this has US and Saudi fingerprints all over it - rather than France.

And France is unlikely to prevail in another intervention in Mali. It has proven that its military is too small, badly equipped and rather inept at desert warfare.

Come to boot France is bankrupt. Paris simply can't afford to embark on another neo-colonial adventure.

All that having said - the Collective West's geopolitical moves have been quite insane lately.

Algeria is not providing Any aid to terrorist organisation it fought terrorism during 10 years And nobody helped it

Andrew Korybko's avatar

Algeria doesn't consider the latest iteration of Tuareg separatists in Mali to be terrorists. It's also pretty likely that this latest movement receives some support from Algeria considering that they have a base right on the border that was the scene of a major battle before:

Because there is sizable tuareg berber speaking population in Algeria it self And these People never commited terrorism act

What a load of crap... this paper is some of the poorest, least cleaver piece of propaganda Andrew Korybko has produced in a long time... and he does produce of lot of them, so this tells you much.

.

France is done with Mali. And with Niger. France will watch these countries fall, and French people will shrug and say:"that's what you get for being ungrateful two-faced traitors".

.

Russians promised security and only brought the conditions for downfall. Russians accused the French of mass crimes, but they are now freely claiming mass assassinations of both Malian civilians and soldiers. Russians accused the French of seeking to steal Mali's resources, but from day one they got in in support of military cliques only against the ownership of mines of many minerals.

All that France had never even contemplated nor attempted.

.

If at least Korybko could put his courage where his mouth is, and promise that he'll hang himself or cut his wrists if France does not invade Mali as he is prophetising, maybe the guy could deserve some level of respect.

But he's only showing desperation to hide Russia's disgusting failures of which Russians just wash their hands, having been generously paid from day one.

And he cowers from discussing the larger implications for Mali, its people, and all neighbouring countries, by using the old trick of accusatory inversion.

.

Such a miserable piece by a miserable man...

Ah, another of my Alt-Media trolls, welcome! lol I love knowing that my analyses trigger you all. I'll let you carry on for a bit longer just to further discredit your side. Show everyone how toxic you all are. Let it out, tell me how you REALLY feel about me :-)

Looks like he's French... Vichy French probably!?

Darras's avatar

No, no, he have the right to think what he think but he have no right to insult Andrew.

That become usual in France to insult those who don't think like you. It's boring. And tiring.

Right, I tolerate all manner of contrarian views, they just have to be respectfully expressed and not personally attack me. Had he left the personal parts out, then I would have had no problem with what he wrote, but telling me to kill myself is absurd lol

I get that from time to time on X, usually from trolls who'll cite some analysis of mine from however many years ago that triggered them into hating me, which is why I'm then able to determine that they've seethed in silence for literal years till finally deciding to troll me.

Two of the three or four (I lost count lol) who've revealed themselves to be like that over the past two years ended up getting their X accounts suspended after wildly threatening me in an animalistic manner, breaking all of X's terms of service going crazy with their attacks.

Some of these psychopaths would literally try to kill me if they ever met me in real life. I once had an Armenian-American stalker, an older 50- or 60-something-year-old woman who repeatedly threatened to pay "the Armenian mafia" in Moscow to kill me, it was so pathetic lol

It just goes to show how some people become deranged from too much internet use, or maybe the internet just brings out their preexisting psychological instabilities that were hitherto undiagnosed and possibly not even yet exhibiting symptoms?

It's philosophical questions like these that I've begun to ponder over the years after being targeted by people like this. I learned so much about human nature and the Alt-Media Community in general. The world is actually a very, very dark place and many people are genuinely evil.

I like how you're openly fantasizing about me hurting myself, that's indicative of a very weak person who thinks that they'll hurt my feelings (lol at imagining a random troll doing that!) and the thought of this makes them feel good.

You're a nobody, Pierre, you just get a brief adrenaline rush out of conveying veiled death threats to your intellectual superiors on the internet. Trolls like you have toxified much of the Alt-Media Community and made it insufferable.

But continue, I want you to make a total of five veiled death threats, two isn't enough! Come on, you're emotionally engaged after my latest analysis just triggered you, so give it all you got!

You've very clearly been seething in silence for however long just waiting till you gathered up enough confidence to pull this pathetic stunt. You're no different than my countless trolls on X. Now amuse me more, carry on, Pierre! lol

Andrew Korybko's avatar

I enjoy tormenting my trolls by publicly analyzing their psyche so I'm going to continue while I wait for you to amuse me with your next response :-)

Your latest reference to my supposed importance is nothing but projection from a loser who's struggling to get through their boring life.

Moreover, your repeatedly implied death threats belie your own such thoughts, that much is obvious enough and too easy to discern.

Now I could be cruel and encourage you to cross the line but then I'd deprive myself of the amusement that you provide with your rants :-)

Under no circumstances must you do what you ridiculously thought that you'd pressure me to do.

Instead, you need to continue humiliating yourself here, being my lolcow, getting mercilessly mocked, and living with the embarrassment.

Keyword, living, don't take the coward's way out. Proudly represent your segment of the Alt-Media Community.

On that topic, list the top three people who you rely on for guidance about geopolitical events, I'm interested to see if they're who I expect they are lol

Reprends toi.

Ou barre toi.

I blocked that troll for insulting you. I absolutely don't accept my trolls attacking members of my community. They can troll me and I'll troll them back for my amusement if I have the time, energy, and interest, but I won't let them attack others.

Darras's avatar

Personally, I don't understand.

There are dozens, hundreds, thousands blog and site I don't like and I think their author are jesters or scoundrels and their readers are morons, but I just don't go in those forums. That's all.

You know what I think about people like Escobar, History Legend, Military Summary Channel and so much others, and I don't even speak of pro-NATO blog and site, but I just avoid them.

I think that if you're not paid to come trolling a site, it's a kind of perversion to loose time to come insulting authors and readers.

Hmm, looks like my dear brother Korybko knowledge of the sahel and the 3 amigos is very limited.

The idea that France can unilaterally intervene in Mali is fantasy at best and pure propaganda at worst.

Nobody in the sahel wants anything to do with France anymore.

Of course the locals are aware of the fact that France and Europe are the ones financing the terror hence their determination to hold firm with the sahel alliance, knowing that the alternative is going to be worse and akin to slavery and recolonisation.

Once you've tasted real freedom, there is no going back and all the youth in West Africa will volunteer to fight for the sahel 3 if France or any European powers unilaterally intervene.

My 2 pence
