I believe it. However, Nobody of influence and authority (and certainly nobody of influence and authority in Brussels or Washington) cares what the average frustrated Tomek, Rysiek or Harisiek (sorry, couldn't think of a decent polish analog to "Harry") thinks or likes or wants.

If any polish politician starts to get ideas, that someone will be summoned to headquarters for a very stern talking-to.

What will happen in the end is that the poles will be chastised. Ukraine may be ordered to turn the rhetoric down a notch.* Everyone will be ordered to kiss and make up like squabbling children. They won't like it, any more than a six year old likes being ordered to kiss is little sister, but he does want ice cream later, so....

*Right now Ukraine doesn't have to, so they are rubbing poles' noses in their status as disfavored stepsibling with Ukraine as Golden Child.

Thank you, Dr. Andrew for your insightful analysis concerning Poles’ radically shifting views towards Ukraine. Hopefully, Poland realizes that Ukraine will become a security threat to its neighbors, unless Russia’s SMO concludes with a decisive defeat of Ukraine.
