I mentioned your Substack during a comment that was on Racket News ( Matt Taibbi) ( who himself lived in Russia for close to a decade) he had a guest post by Matt Bivens. I got slammed by one guy who really doesn’t like you I guess and called you a Russian asset and apologist. Either way I hope that makes up for me the other day mentioning another author in my comments. I like you Andrew and yes you do write with a pro Russian slant but you live there and it’s your home so I expect it and am

Not bothered by it. I’m a US citizen and not some left wing nut job who finds fault in everything here. Every country has its faults. I think I’d be pretty miserable if I hated my country. I think that would be the same for every citizen of any country.

This Sikorski takes quite a few liberties - and he's apparently permitted to do so. Remember his tweet after the Nord Stream sabotage ("Thank you, USA") and now this. Somehow, he must feel well protected, by powerful people.

It reminds you of other European VIPs, who act as if there is no such thing as international law protecting the property of other countries, openly say that they don't care about what their voters think, or simply break election promises about avoiding debt accumulation a few days after the elections.

These are the kind of things ordinary politicians cannot allow themselves.
