Trump is using Pakistan as a band aid to cover up his enormous geopolitical losses in Asia. If Pakistan gives up the established economic ties to China under US pressure that will likely hurt their country on the long run but will still not allow America a return to the good ol’ days. Russia and China already crossed the Rubicon and India seems to be going with them. It is obvious that Pakistan is looking at India as an archenemy but so did Ukraine look at Russia for well over a decade now. I am not trying to say here that Pakistan and Ukraine are misunderstanding their own situation; I am saying that they need to proceed carefully and attempt diplomatic solutions as a war is not in their best interest as the Ukraine situation illustrates. The US carelessly ties new alliance all over the globe and discards them casually at will.
And the very next day we saw Taliban attacking Pakistani forces along the forced upon border of durand line that divided Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The term is also an objective statement of fact: India's system is indeed classified as a democracy due to its people voting for their representatives, elections are generally considered to be free and fair by most observers, and its population is the largest in the world.
You can acknowledge that the term was used for propagandistic purposes before while also acknowledging that it's being used accurately in this context. It's like the word "genocide"; many cry wolf about it, but some genocides do indeed objectively exist at present and existed in the past.

It would be geopolitically strange for Pakistan to put all its eggs into the US basket. Especially if they get surrounded by a China-Afganistan-Iran-India-Russia coalition.
