As a Canadian geographer this question is very interesting to me. Given the encouraging political developments in Canada being promoted by the government of Canada, it is time to revisit Russian-Canadian trade relations, which should improve shortly. I am interested in the transportation aspect of this matter; Port of Murmansk to Port of Churchill, Canada, with a rail connection through the centre of North America and Central America from Churchill to the Panama Canal.
iran is so impredictable, they even attacked the other chinese ally, afghanistan, and they did it on the background of tightening relations with usa. also, they have proven that, when nothing threatens them, they become the threat themselves.
Thanks - great article!
Iran's geografic location makes it more important then Pakestans. Iran borders Russia , controls the straits of Hormuz so Pakistan can't replace Iran.
What about if China buries its conflict with India, and provides a land corridor to connect Russia and India?
