Pakistan’s Endorsement Of Iran’s Anti-Government Riots Is Misguided & Counterproductive

Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari should never have sought to meddle in Iran’s domestic political affairs, which is completely contrary to Pakistan’s objective national interests and only serves America’s divide-and-rule agenda against Eurasia.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari (BBZ) endorsed Iran’s anti-government riots while speaking at a UN press briefing. He said that “The Iranian women protesting in their country are very brave. And they are not only being encouraged by us but also within Iran. [If we look at] Iran’s history, we have seen that time and time again, Iranians have been very brave in their political activities, their activism, and their protesting.” This was counterproductive, misguided, and will inevitably haunt him.

It appears as though he was motivated by the dual desires of bolstering Pakistan’s image in West’s eyes via the feminist card alongside signaling Islamabad’s resentment at Iran’s newfound global role. The first is self-explanatory while the latter is due to the Islamic Republic closely coordinating with Russia and India across the past ten months to jointly create a third pole of influence in International Relations. Tehran’s progress in this respect has inadvertently been at the expense of Islamabad’s interests.

Prior to the US-orchestrated but superficially democratic post-modern coup against former Prime Minister Khan in early April, Pakistan had the promising potential of serving as one of the most important balancing forces in Russia’s Greater Eurasian Partnership. The Pakistan-Afghanistan-Uzbekistan (PAKAFUZ) railway could have pioneered a new integration corridor across the supercontinent had that country’s regime change not catalyzed cascading crises that offset this scenario.

The grand strategic consequence of the aforesaid was that the previously stillborn North-South Transport Corridor (NSTC) between Russia and India via Iran was given a second life upon becoming Moscow’s only remaining viable outlet to the international economy. Iran’s irreplaceable role in facilitating this accelerated its strategic partnerships with those two previously mentioned Great Powers, which in turn prompted the US to exploit domestic developments for Hybrid War ends.

By endorsing that unrest, BBZ winked at his country’s newly restored American overlord simultaneously with expressing Islamabad’s displeasure at Tehran’s growing role in Eurasia. This was counterproductive, however, since it falsely suggested that Pakistan is playing a role in driving those anti-government riots, not to mention that it discredited his post-modern coup regime since it’s brutally suppressed purely peaceful rallies over the past eight months that were organized in pursuit of free and fair early elections.

Not only that, but this entire approach is misguided since the US-led West’s Golden Billion will never treat Pakistan as an equal with the respect that it deserves since that de facto New Cold War bloc only hopes to exploit that country for the purpose of geostrategically reorienting South Asia. Pakistan is nothing but an object in their eyes, albeit one that the Golden Billion’s elite will nod approving towards whenever its representatives repeat rhetoric that supports their larger interests.

BBZ will therefore inevitably be haunted by his endorsement of Iran’s anti-government riots since his misguided attempt to earn his overlord’s respect implicated Pakistan in that Hybrid War plot together with discrediting its post-modern coup regime. He should never have sought to meddle in that neighboring country’s domestic political affairs, which is completely contrary to Pakistan’s objective national interests and only serves America’s divide-and-rule agenda against Eurasia.
