Getting to the point on hand. I have been a few times in Ukraine, long before this war, The people seemed to be normal, or at least close enough. However, nobody could ever explain this to me: How could the people of that country be so dumb and allow themselves to be sucked in by this sick looking con artist and his 'servant of the people' BS?
People are grasping at straws when they see no other way to improve their situation. Many working people in the U.S. believed another TV personality that he will bring the lost jobs back and end forever wars.
Simple- Ukrainians knew that adopting the nationalist ideology was a condition to being admitted to The Club, The Golden Billion, The Magical Land Where Institutions Basically Work.
That change is instigated by usaid. They invested billions in ukrain to make that change of opinion happen. Since it's christmastime, I will not state my (not so nice) wishes for that organisation here.
There has always been some level of conflict in East Europe . Galician Ukrainians when under Austro-Hungarian rule until Russia brought them back into Ukraine after WWI. The conflict with Poland is centuries old. That came to an end when Ukraine & Russia were united. When you have conflict you need a STRONG man. In this case RUSSIA. When the proxy in Ukraine war comes to an end and Ukraine decomes united with Rjussia as thet ha ve been for centuries a more peaceful East Europe will emerge.
Because Poland has put so much physical and reputational capital into anti-Russianism, even embracing the literal direct biological and ideological descendants of the creeps who so gleefully murdered their grandparents, in their hopes that the Americans will make their war come true, that they cannot reverse course.
This abuse of The Sunk Cost Fallacy is entirely intentional.
Thank God Germany lost and we're not speaking German. Arabic is so much more compatible with European civilization. We should be grateful the Austrian Painter was stopped otherwise Israel might not exist.

They simply got used to seeing him on his comedy show “Kvartal 95” on television. He was a comedian for many years prior to getting into politics.
