I disagree. Poland doesn't have an independent, focused on national interest government. It is an Anglo-American-German puppet, with specific orientation depending on issues and electoral calendar. A small example of Polish subjugation to the USA was the term of Georgette Mosbacher, officially as an ambassador, but practically as a viceroy. Polish government officials were queuing at the US embassy to get approval for their plans of action.
Playing into desires of the Collective West to have a buffer against Russia, Poland is overextending itself by borrowing to rebuild its military. The worst is a continuous saber-rattling and a stream of dangerous ideas, which could result in a hot conflict with Russia without NATO umbrella.

We watched day in and day out as the British shipped all sorts of war materiel to Poland for Ukraine. They have absolutely no connection to Germany; rather, the EU took money from Germany and poured it into Polish projects, and we didn't even notice.

This is a case of Poland being over impressed with itself. T he power in Europe is Russia which has 45% of the world's nuclear weapons as does the USA. For the safety of Europe Russia should be allowed to join NATO. Why have Russia as an enemy? What has Russia done other then defeat EU countries who have invaded Russia and lost . Poland, Germany,France, Sweden, England. Pushing Russia away toward an alliance with China, India, Iran ,etc is not good for the West. Get smart EU countries the Russians look just like you.
I have read conflicting reports on Poland and do not pretend to be an expert. Mostly, the reports were related to economic viability with indications that NATO, the EU, Britain (of all things) and the U.S. support Poland, meaning that Poland will do as instructed. An interesting fact is that I was in Poland in 2022 and saw all of two Ukrainian flags, one faded and filthy hanging out of a window and another faded and hoisted by an academic institution in Krakow. That was it, whereas the Germans of Berlin replaced the German flag with huge Ukraine flags in large numbers on all government buildings and institutions. In reading David Irving on the Dresden bombing campaign, the underpopulated Baltics and Finland would be destroyed and any new or old highway irrelevant.
And they want the Germans to pay for it again... Poland is the most unpopular country, and once everything is exposed, including Poland's role in WWII—because they betrayed us Germans—then they'll see what WE demand in return. So arrogant and insolent!

Yes Poles betrayed Germany. 5 millions Poles assassinated by Germans... What a treason. :)
More than that, but Poland had the largest chosen population in the world at that time, I suspect that wasnt a good influence on its policies.
