Honestly blaming Dugin for MAGA supporters not being excited about the New Gulf War is a better narrative then the Russiagate 1.0 narrative of Hillary losing the 2016 election because Russians posted on Facebook that she wouldn't be a good president. Of course the implication that MAGA dissidents would support war Iran if not for Dugin is ridiculous but still, by Russiagate standards its an upgrade. At least Dugin is a concrete person that looks scary to some people, way better then the main villain being vauge "bot farms".

A scapegoat can always be found. The irony being that Dugin has little influence in Russia.

Anyway, taking this nuttiness to its logical extreme, i suppose that no American ever can read or be influenced by a Russian, any Russian, lest they be led astray.

This is sort of like antisemitic paranoia of not so long ago, or Bircher logic.
