Ukraine under Zelensky is becoming a major risk factor for Central Europe. Orban has good reason not to allow them into the EU.

Serbs have had a warm friendly relatioship with Russia for centuries. SLAVI C ORTHODOX. You can expect them to do what is right for Russia.

Most Greeks do as as well except for the EU puppets they cannot seem to get rid of. My good Greek friend fought with his Serb brothers during the NATO debacle and wrote a book about it.

I really respect both Hungary and Serbia.

How long is the west/Ukraine going to continue to attack Russia oil industries while at the same time lots of Persian Gulf oil facilities are being destroyed? Surely that can't help anyone?

The most worrying in all that european shenanigans in Hungary is that officially there is no centralised EU's intelligence service and that such a service would be illegal and unconstitutional for each state of UE.

While what we see in Hungary seems to show that there is such an office actually existing.

And it would be a scandalous treachery.

And if it's not a EU's secret office but that of a lone state? Germany? France? Poland?

Feral Finster's avatar

All of the above, along with the Baltics and the british lurking in the background.

Darras's avatar

Can you imagine what could mean a secret illegal EU secret service? It would mean that a kind of coup has been made in EU.

Feral Finster's avatar

It isn't even necessary to establish such a thing formally. Just informal cooperation towards a shared goal, if that will do the trick.

Darras's avatar

No, for such operation, you need teams federated by a boss . Cooperation is not enough for this kind of job.

Feral Finster's avatar

I'm not sure why that would be.

Clandestine orgs are common everywhere....funded by any entity that supports missions. It is a well known strategy by certain western nations-- exposed clearly by Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, who spent years imprisoned in the United Kingdom.

If true…then Trump needs to refuse to allow any further arms flowing from the USA via the EU to Ukraine….stirring the pot in the EU must get the Ukraine leader canned.

Yeah right like ending the US Russia proxy war in Ukraine in 1 day in January 2025. Or ending the Genocide of Gaza, which now includes the West Bank, Lebanon ,Piracy and war with IRAN. Essentially Trump closed the Hormuz strait single handedly. But he can't reopen it.

The EU is as big or bigger enemy of Hungary than Ukraine..plan C which is discussed is the Israel US go to option; murder/Assassination to achieve political goals. So if Orban winds up dead both the EU and Ukraine are the prime suspects. At which point Hungary should think about maybe attacking Ukraine or joining BRICS.

Kennewick Man's avatar

If Hungary joins BRICS suddenly it finds itself in the center of a group of EU/NATO/ hostiles, not a brilliant idea. Hungary simply does not have the industrial and military strength to deal with this. Orban’s present strategy of grinding down the EU/NATO Club from the inside and trying to talk sense to them is a better approach. The EU/NATO states already are living in La-La Land. As the pro-war pressure grows and their industrial might is being reduced by rising energy prices the already existing cracks will become wider and deeper. Germany is already playing with the idea of limiting traveling opportunities for males in the 17 to 45 age group and that can mean only one thing.

Just Sayn's avatar

That makes sense. EU is not aware that US is at economic war with them as well as every other country on the planet

eleni's avatar

Yes and yes. EU needs to be dismantled before we reach and redux of 1941. And yes to Hungary joining BRICS. Is there anything in the EU spider web of laws prohibiting free association by its member states?
