The Ukrainian strategy is simple enough - offer no real concessions, negotiate as little as possible, and then run screaming to NATO that Russia does not want an end to the war. The plan ever always only was for NATO to come to the rescue, once thr number of Ukrainians to soak up Russian munitions started to run low, and that the United States would get roped in, rather than leave their poodles hanging out to dry.

The entire point was to present Putin with a "peace deal" that he could not possibly, accept, then to pillory him for not accepting that peace deal.

Zelenskii and his handlers are quite clever at presenting outcomes that they win, either way.

If I were Trump, watching Congress fail to support him and watching Federal judges frustrate his agenda, I would defy the neocons, pull the plug on Ukraine, and make the case for eliminating all current Republicans up for re-election. Just let them try to impeach and let them see what country they have left after doing that.

Trump just keeps wanting to have it both ways and this makes him look weak and non-decisive. I can say this with certainty: The American people are completely fed up with neocons and republicans and we want them both gone.

May that new general raze the worthless state of Ukraine as quickly as possible. It's time for the BS to end one way or another.
