Folks in the U.S. government seem constantly on watch to see if there is some way to start a conflict somewhere over something. It's amazing. And it usually results in them getting bitten in the butt. But they press on.

An absurd level of aggressivity is not a sign of superiority, rather the opposite, a sign of inferiority. This aggressivity saturates Western governments constantly these days. In Sweden government employees literally kidnapped the children of a Romanian family because the kids spoke of religious convictions at their school. (Daniel and Bianca Samson case)

Zakharova gets to the point mercilessly and properly so:

‘Against this backdrop, such demonstrative targeted interest by US authorities in the children of employees of Russian foreign institutions is causing genuine concern. Not for our diplomats, but for the mental health of American officials.’

America is full of examples when children are kidnapped from parents with highly questionable reasonings and the kids end up in the hands of sexual offenders. In France and Sweden judges are routinely setting free North African adults after they drug and commit brutal rapes of 12 – 13 year old girls.
