There is a Youtube video showing a video camera-based drone detection system directing either an automatic shotgun or a 5.56 in rapid firing. This is a setup that can be carried down to an infantry squad. Russians need to downscale the Pantsir to something more ready for the individual infantry squad.

Population-wise, if Poland were to declare war on Russia, it would be a major order of battle increase on the Western-Ukraine side. Poland has twice as large population base compared to Ukraine without Novorossiya. So effectively, the demographic side would expand 3x. At the same time, Poland would be losing a lot of their currently pristine infrastructure. However, only French and British were willing to commit a pittance of their forces, and probably said no as to the replacement of Polish economic loss.
