Makes you wonder if some of the intel for the strike was provided by a war weary Ukrainian. A recent poll indicated that a large majority of Ukrainians were interested in an end to the war even if it meant ceding some territory to Russia versus a previous poll that showed reverse numbers.

Be very wary of polls. Almost none of them amount to a hill of beans anymore. Although, I have to concede this one feels correct.

So you don't trust polls, except when they tell you what you want to hear.

James Schwartz's avatar

Why? Because Ukrainians wish to end the war? I can’t imagine they’d wish to fight forever against a country that can fight forever with almost unlimited new recruits that Ukraine could never equal and possibly lose every inch of its sovereign land? What polls do you have in your small brain that would make me happy? Find someone else to troll

Yes, yes, yes...

What believe in this world of lie.

About the russian strikes, I have one question and absolutely nobody answer in AMC.

So, Russia, every day strikes dozens of factories, power plants, were houses and other. Much of them work 24/7. And there is always security or cleaning agents.

Every day, dozens of destruction with dozens of tons of explosive.

And no civil death or wounded. No worker, no security agent, no white collar, no cleaner agent. How I know it? Because if it was, you would hear the Ukrainian shouters all around the world.

If Russia alert authorities before, you can be sure that those let people die to shout louder.

Russians call personally each worker?

They strike in open field?

In bullshit building?

What happens is that these strikes (when effective) get relabelled by Ukrainians and their allies as strikes against civilan centers. Sometimes. You can see the same in Gaza. Or in Lebanon.

Darras's avatar

No, it's not what I said.

In Gaza, you have dozens of death and wounded after each strike.

I repeat

I ask why is there no death , no wounded? Is that magic strikes?

The "theory" behind enabling Ukrainian production of these missiles shows again how lame the EU and NATO "leadership" is. This also illustrates again the obvious opening the Trump Admin needs to take advantage of if it really wants to end the war--just walk away; quit sending money and weapons. The EU would last long, if indeed it didn't actually immediately turn timid once it realized the US no longer had its back.

This all leads one to conclude that key people connected to the Trump Admin don't really want to end this war unless (impossibly, of course) they can somehow pull out a win, or at least something that can at least be presented as one.

The downside of this piece is that it gives intel agencies, like the CIA, a reason to exist.

Oh come on! Any "Ukrainian ballistic missile program" isn't going to be built or tested in Ukraine, regardless what nonsense is said for public consumption.
