And yes, Republicans will get shellacked in November. They deserve it for doing nothing but bloviating as the country circles the drain. Overall, Trump's second term is much, much worse than his first. That said, I'm not against what his agents are doing in Minneapolis. The federal agents are, after all, just enforcing federal law. And if the Left's "peaceful protestors" turn into "violent attackers," they should be stopped, period. Maybe not by killing them as a first response, but stopped nonetheless. Nonlethal measures are maybe more appropriate, such as pepper spray or tasers, followed by their arrest and incarceration.
The problem is that the feds cannot be sure that arresting someone for a violent attack will result in their incarceration. I walked into a well stocked bookstore in Duluth, something we no longer have in my city. The bookstore was seemingly normal except for the section on politics which was incredibly biased with bios on Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama and NOTHING on the current President or the populist movement. Hillary Freakin' Clinton, one of the most violent, repugnant politicians of our time? Barack Obama the past President who betrayed the working and middle class and whose appeals to "Bro" during the last campaign were ignored? I learned much about Minnesota by walking into a bookstore in Duluth. I am no Trump fan, but the voters spoke in the last election. The homeless population in my city has ballooned. The prevailing Democratic Party in my city is responsible.

Where are you getting your info? "Pure" white is more like 60%, with 70% identifying as white in combination. In any case, American ideals are not necessarily limited to "white" people. The problem is ideology, not race. Granted, you won't find many non-whites who live by foundationally Western values, so if race is used as a proxy for ideology, then you both are roughly correct.

You are likely grabbing Census data when stating 60-70% Whites but this comes from shifting self-identification at the data collection. The Bureau simply abandoned racial identification, handling over the job to the general population and that is fairly ridiculous.
