I'm seriously considering limiting comments to paid subscribers to prevent trolls, who've become increasingly sophisticated in their passive-aggressive insults, from toxifying the conversation.
I don't have the time, nor always the energy, to closely monitor my comments even after reimposing my policy of instantly banning trolls and explaining afterwards (which is back in effect).
The only way that I'll definitely keep the comments open all summer at least is if there are at minimum five more paid subscribers to recompense me for the abuse that I occasionally receive.
I sincerely enjoy responding to comments here, but it's so draining nowadays since I'm going on long walks midday in the Moscow heat only to return to this nonsense on a semi-regular basis.
I can't keep it up if everything remains the same so something has to go, and I'm not cutting out my midday walks nor reducing my workflow, but likely restricting comments for paid subscribers.
Considering that fairly recently the US made serious advances to warm relations with Pakistan this long-term cooperation plan with Russia will turn off the American Deep-State toward Pakistan. This step is something they will not be able to digest.
Since June, 2021 the United States has donated 79,304,450 safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine doses with the people of Pakistan. This includes 73,804,390 Pfizer and 5,500,060 Moderna doses. Of the 79,304,450 vaccine doses, 99.7% were donated in partnership with COVAX and 0.3% were donated through bilateral agreement.
I think it would be good if Pakistan became part of the BRICS. In my opinion, only the BRICS can bring about a rapprochement between India and Pakistan. They don't have to become "best friends"; treating each other fairly would be enough.
Pakistan is being smart. They want to have friendly relations with Russia. If the EU & USA were to do the same thing the world would be at peace. Who are the fools in USA that want to continue to be at odds with Russia?? They should be given a one way trip to the little country called Israel. I am amazed that such a small group of people put us all in DANGER. Please America for your own good & the worlds do this.
