Frankly, I don’t see any possibility of a war between Spain and Morocco. Morocco is militarily very weak, Mohammed VI doesn’t have a warlike temperament (he comes from the oldest reigning dynasty in the world, which is very cautious), a large part of its economy is tied to France, and its formidable neighbor Algeria—much more powerful—could take advantage of the situation.

NATO has always managed the Greece–Turkey issue, and Morocco won’t cause any problems for a European country, certainly not an armed one.

On the other hand, yes, Trump might well end up blowing up NATO—he no longer needs it. A “NATO 3.0” would be even more beneficial to him and, above all, more compliant.

For the US, Spain is just a horror-show. Western Europe has imported the Arab street and it shows. Same thing happening with France and UK.
