Tucker Carlson earlier claimed that the CIA is investigating him for communicating with contacts in Iran, so it’s possible that he might be charged on these new counterterrorist grounds, especially after Trump 2.0’s Senior Director for Counterterrorism suggested that he’s a far-left extremist.
Trump 2.0’s Counterterrorism Strategy (CTS) was released in early May and sharply diverges from what the world has come to expect from the US on this issue. According to the administration, “Currently we face three major types of terror groups: Narcoterrorists and Transnational Gangs; Legacy Islamist Terrorists; Violent Left-Wing Extremists, including Anarchists and Anti-Fascist”. The first is well-known, the second rose to public awareness during the US’ naval operations off Venezuela, and the third is new.
It’s this last group that forms the subject of the present analysis. The CTS elaborated that “a new type of domestic terrorism has emerged, driven by violent extremists who have adopted ideologies antithetical to freedom and the American way of life.” This includes “violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist.” Interestingly, the CTS will also tackle “New and deepening alliances between the far-left and Islamists, i.e., the ‘Red-Green’ alliance” (RGA).
The RGA wasn’t elaborated on any further in the CTS, but it probably refers to the public alignment of interests between these groups after October 7th, thus suggesting that Trump 2.0 will at minimum monitor individuals categorized by it as such from top influencers to social media activists. The far-left will perceive this as McCarthyism while Islamists will perceive it as Islamophobia. The Democrats and some Alt-Media, both state-sponsored and independent, are expected to warn about civil rights abuses.
The same is expected from some Europeans, whose bloc is now awash with over 60 million migrants per the latest official data from last month, a substantial amount of whom are civilizationally dissimilar due to originating from majority-Muslim countries in North Africa, West Africa, West Asia, and South Asia. The CTS accordingly assessed that Europe “is both a terror target and an incubator of terror threats.” While the document focuses on the “Green” half of the RGA in the EU, the “Red” one is relevant too.
Both halves will likely be monitored to keep an eye on their protests (mostly nowadays against Israel) and determine the source of their financing, especially as regards their media operations. Laura Loomer, who’s so close to Trump that she influenced his firing of national security officials, recently hinted on X that “People (in reference to US podcasters who she considers far-left due to their regular attacks against Israel) are going to prison” for accepting money “from Islamic terrorists through European cutouts.”
In the context of the new CTS’ focus on the RGA, this could be interpreted as her high-level sources in Trump 2.0 (perhaps even as high as he himself) confirming the previously mentioned speculative investigations, which might have been active since January 2025. To make that interpretation of her post even more compelling, Senior Director for Counterterrorism Sebastian Gorka suggested that her enemy Tucker Carlson is a far-left extremist a few days later for praising Sharia, thus putting a target on his back.
Trump 2.0’s earlier designation of drug cartels as terrorists was followed by high-profile attacks against alleged traffickers at sea so precedent suggests that something similarly high-profile will eventually follow the CTS’ official designation of the RGA as terrorists. Tucker earlier claimed that the CIA is investigating him for communicating with contacts in Iran, so it’s possible that he might be charged on these grounds, which would spark a major political scandal that would last throughout all of Trump 2.0.

Orange 2.0 can throw all the classifications around but calling Tucker Carlson ‘far-left extremist’ or anything but an anti-war activist will seriously discredit them. This thing was brewing against Carlson since his Putin interview of 2024. Actually if Carlson pinned the Gaza mass murder on Trump he would be factually correct as the hardware necessary for the act was mostly forwarded from the US, free of charge. Trump is a warmonger and Carlson is the opposite and so am I. The overwhelming majority of Americans had enough of the warmongers here.
I am all the more comfortable saying what follows because I am absolutely not left-wing.
At the beginning of Trump's second term, beyond the posturing (which all fizzled out), I very quickly noticed, with surprise, genuinely fascistic traits in that method of governance. I told myself we had to wait a bit and see. Well, now it's here. I can state that the Trump administration is authentically fascist.
It is still somewhat restrained by shreds of a constitution, poorly defended by incompetents, sympathizers, ambitious people, and armies of cowards (as in all pre‑fascist eras), but the fascist direction is clear and unmistakable.
And these Yankee morons, always obsessed with shouting 'communist' left and right, have no idea that they are sinking into fascism unless they stop the presidential pig and his clique of crazies.
If they wonder what fascism is, it's very simple to define. It's the world that Blacks and Native Americans, and to a lesser extent Latinos, endured in the southern USA until the 1960s. They just have to imagine what their life would be like if they were Black in Alabama in 1965, and they will know what fascism is.
