"Institute of National Remembrance, which has done more than any other entity in the world to raise the widest possible awareness of the Volhynia Genocide"

That's not completely accurate. Various grassroot groups kept the memory of Volhynia Genocide alive against resistance of both PiS and PO (two wings of the Polish ruling duopoly). Calls for exhumations were resited and the subject was marginalized in the mainstream media. Only the recent rise in power of the right wing, i.e. Konfederacja and KKP, exerted more pressure for action. Ukrainian responses to this topic were always highly insulting, but Polish ruling classes, calling themselves servants of Ukraine, always responded with more servitude.
