WaPo Proved That Zelensky Lied When He Said That Russia Plotted To Blow Up The Kakhovka Dam

It’s now an indisputable fact that Western taxpayers have given approximately $100 billion to a regime that seriously considered an unprecedented environmental terrorist attack and then tried to mislead its public patrons by lying that Russia was allegedly plotting this. As it turns out, Russia was telling the truth when it warned about Kiev’s plot, which is another “politically incorrect” fact.

The Washington Post (WaPo) recently published a detailed report about Kiev’s counteroffensives in Kharkov and Kherson Regions, within which it quoted Maj. Gen. Andrey Kovalchuk who revealed that his side was actually the one that plotted to blow up the Kakhovka Dam and not Russia like was previously alleged. This leading US-led Western Mainstream Media (MSM) outlet wrote that:

“Kovalchuk considered flooding the river. The Ukrainians, he said, even conducted a test strike with a HIMARS launcher on one of the floodgates at the Nova Kakhovka dam, making three holes in the metal to see if the Dnieper’s water could be raised enough to stymie Russian crossings but not flood nearby villages. The test was a success, Kovalchuk said, but the step remained a last resort.”

What’s so damning about their words is that the New York Times (NYT) quoted Zelensky as saying in mid-October that Russia was supposedly plotting a “false flag” attack to blow up that same dam. The Ukrainian leader said in a video link to European leaders that “We have information that Russian terrorists mined the dam and aggregates of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.”

There’s now no doubt from WaPo’s latest report citing the military official who Zelensky originally tasked carrying out the Kherson Counteroffensive that the Ukrainian leader flat-out lied and therefore weaponized an anti-Russian conspiracy theory. Likewise, Russian Army General Sergey Surovikin’s warning around the same time that Kiev was the one plotting this terrorist attack has been vindicated.

Nobody should get their hopes up about the MSM proverbially putting two and two together to explicitly inform their targeted audience that Zelensky lied, nor should they expect any of its perception managers to analyze the consequences of Ukraine considering a terrorist attack as “a last resort.” It would also be too much for anyone to predict that they’ll ever bring up that plot again in any context.

This latest revelation is likely just the tip of the iceberg. In all probability, most if not everything that Russia claimed about Kiev over the past year is true as well and will thus inevitably be revealed with time exactly as its illegal militarization of residential areas was eventually acknowledged by Amnesty International. More such war crimes are therefore waiting to be exposed.
