“there is growing evidence that Russia may have used tankers in the Baltic Sea to launch drones – the drones that caused major disruption in Northern Europe. If tankers used by Russia are serving as drone platforms, then such tankers should not be free to operate in the Baltic. This is de facto Russia’s military activity against European countries, so Europe has the right to close straits and sea routes to protect itself.”

This time, Zelenskyy may be technically correct. Growing evidence may mean from 0.0001% to 0.0002% probable. The rest of the statement is conditional. He is getting more crafty with his pronouncements. Maybe there are coke shortages at Bankova Street .

Indications are that the Russian sabotage of the Baltic area nations is an urban legend fanned by a comedian with limited talents. He is just ‘playing with WWIII’ as usual. The same game was played after the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines where the international media was dutifully parroting that ‘Russia did it!’ What if Russia suddenly discovers one day that Ukraine is sabotaging and mining international waters in the Black Sea? They will just have to take Odessa and the whole of the Ukraine Black Sea coastal area and game over. With the same exact logic Russia can blockade entry to the Arctic Ocean from the Scandinavian Peninsula and force ships all the way to the North Pole. The Baltic States better think three times before question the rights of Kaliningrad and Russia to the Baltic exit.
