I do not think Putin should have agreed to this summit meeting with Trump. It will be an excellent photo-op opportunity for Trump to be seen with "his friend" Putin and bask in the glory of making this meeting - which he has wanted for months - happen. But Putin has nothing to gain from this, except perhaps delay the imposition of sanctions by a week or two. But those sanctions will be imposed, and Putin would be a fool to think otherwise. Also, both Russia and China would be absolute fools to compete with one another to win favour with the US. They are a lot stronger united than apart.
When we look at the larger image we see a weird kaleidoscope of constant changes, a completely liquid process by Trump, devoid of any principles and long-term considerations. He moved from ‘This war should have never happened’ and ‘I will stop this war in 24 hours’ to the traditional Deep-State position of Evil Russia and I will send the nuclear subs. His greatest goal, the ‘Pivot to China’ was sent down the drain. What he is desperate for is to break up the Russia/China team. Instead, he seems to be creating the Russia/China/Iran/North Korea/BRICS Team. If Trump really throws in the extreme tariffs against China and India he deprives the American Proletariat from the basic consumer supplies that would take many decades to produce home. He will also fast track the growth of BRICS, de-dollarization and US geopolitical segregation from the rest of the planet. The shock to the US economy will be likely greater than to his opponents. A new industrial revolution would have to be created on the bare backs of a hundred million unwilling third world actors presently drawing welfare checks and food cards from the American treasury that thinks the US debt is $37 Trillion while there is an increasingly larger and larger group of experts who arrived to a $171 Trillion number.
Best of luck President Trump. Just keep walking into the sunset toward your ever-changing goals and send me a postcard when you get there.
You mean the reason Witkoff sprints to Moscow was NOT the recent capture of a NATO intelligence site outside of Odessa, where 3 British OFFICERS were caught, along with lots of incriminating documents? And that Putin now has everything he needs to legally start destroying NATO instead of a fellow Slav nation? Hmmm...
The Russian economy is self-sustainable...they now have their own version of McDonalds and enough natural resources of their own to be independent from the world. Again, they can't be hurt by our sanctions...
Putin and Trump are not friends nor is Trump friends with his voter base now. His mask has fallen off to reveal that he was Israel and Globalists first all of the time. Trump ran as a peace candidate and now he is funding war...he also provoked a near miss with WW3 by bombing Iran...Iran has big time friends if you don't know and you probably don't.
As I read this, a verse from Daniel 11 came into my mind for the first time in a long, long time:
"And both of these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed." - Dan. 11:27
Interesting that ^ that verse ends with the phrase "the end shall be at the time appointed." Regardless of the outcome, Babylon the great is living on borrowed TIME:
The Trump administration has reversed its stances and is now Biden 2.0 Lite:
*It has undone the “New Détente” with Russia.
*It has adopted the EU’s stance on Ukraine.
*It has gone from being India’s best friend to its worst foe.
*It has recognized HTS’s regime in Syria (to Israel’s consternation).
*It is now backing separatists vs. Myanmar’s junta.
*It is adopting Biden‘s policy in the Caucasus.
Notably, there is no rational motive for *any* of its decisions—as though the Biden administration used sorcery to show that it is *still* in charge...
Andrew, you pose most interesting questions! My guess is to cool down the optics of nuke submarines & threats. The world is jittery enough. The two standing together ought send a calming message. Surely Putin wants this & it gets DJT out of the corner he painted himself into. Putin MUST stand by his bottom line of keeping all acceded territory & addressing the root causes of the conflict. Off stage they will probably agree to ditching Zelensky & maybe even agree on the successor. Maybe also, to nullify the "deal" DJT made with Zelensky for USA to take over remains of Ukraine. Russia DOES NOT WANT BLACKROCK AS A NEIGHBOR. But what to do with what's left after SMO is also an interesting question.
Im wondering if it wasnt China that overplayed its hand. Ive been struck by China's selling of drone parts to both sides of the Ukr conflict and by its refusal/inability to achieve a long term energy deal with Russia.
And now China seems to have the US over a barrel on rare earths, perhaps giving Trump a reason, and one sufficient to work with the idiot neocons, to make substantial concessions to Pres Putin on Ukraine.
While this might be a path to resolution of the conflict, one really has to wonder who the better longer term partner fro Russia might be. The US can never be trusted, while the Chinese appear to be stuffed with more hubris than even the US.
In a YouTube interview with Mike Benz yesterday there was a frank acknowledgement of the root causes of the war by Trump’s son, Donald Jr. That may have helped.
Any face to face meeting for Trump and Putin will depend on whether or not Ukraine + MI6 + CIA create a false flag crisis involving US military casualties. If that happens reach for your helmets!
Perhaps China and India have just warned Russia that they will have to stop buying oil and gaz.
Wether it's Trump or Poutine who blink and the other agree a wobbly deal( because it can only be a wobbly deal), it's mean that BRICS is definitely nothing and that Russia knows it is alone really alone.
And Russia CAN'T do this fight alone.
Poutine is too patriot to sacrifice his country for China.
So, I even don't believe in this meeting.
It would be a disastrous sign for russian soldiers, russian people and BRICS.
The simplest solution is always the best. Trump's ultimatums scared Putin and the BRICS nations especially India. Seeing how none of them are willing to fight back against the US, Putin folded.
You're trying to make sense of a situation that on the surface is illogical, however, if one looks at events of the past and ties them to whats happening currently it all starts to make sense. The US is destroying Europe. not trying to save her.
Let's see whether anything gets settled. We've seen this movie several times before already.

Don't hold your hopes high. This episode will conclude in the battlefield.

So besides doing nothing to solve this problem, whats your solution ?
You mean the reason Witkoff sprints to Moscow was NOT the recent capture of a NATO intelligence site outside of Odessa, where 3 British OFFICERS were caught, along with lots of incriminating documents? You unfortunately fell for fake news because that never happened.
Legally ? In what venue ? SMH

His position is hardly new and has been voiced before, yet Trump Sr. didn’t listen.

Letztendlich geht es um Handelskorridore
RF Kaspische Meer Iran Indien
EU Mittelmeer Israel Indien
Dazu noch die chinesische neue Seidenstrasse
Insoweit stimme ich Ihnen zu

No, the end of the dream of multipolarity
The simplest solution is always the best. Trump's ultimatums scared Putin and the BRICS nations especially India. Seeing how none of them are willing to fight back against the US, Putin folded.
India wasn't impressed with the tariffs inflicted on it. Best part is though, India knows now the US isn't a real ally.
Time will tell.
