The job of a US president: escaping from one war to start a "better" one elsewhere.

My first impression was that the USS Harry S. Truman’s recent adventure with the Houthi missiles forced somebody to make some fast mental calculations. After already losing three fighter jets the numbers are adding up at $60 million each but the real problem must be the close call the carrier had with those missiles. For the US to lose a carrier against the Houthi is like for a gym instructor being knocked out by a third grader. Just looks very-very bad. If the USS Truman goes down with gears and planes, etc. that is a minor $6 Billon+ loss. At the same time the loss of prestige for America is enormous, actually hard to estimate. Just visualize every Muslim boy playing with toy missiles hitting toy carriers from Bombay to Cairo.
