Decades of propaganda prevent many Americans from seeing that China is not, in fact, Communist. They don't know that China is a capitalist country, divided between private and government ownership, and that the Communist Party of China functions as a sort of oligarchy controlling the latter.

Just as they don't know the difference between Putin's Russia and Stalin's Soviet Union. This makes it easier for American politicians to resurrect the old fear of monolithic Communism, which hasn't existed since the Sino-Soviet split when Mao was alive.

Having grown up surrounded by that old anti-Communist propaganda, it's real easy for me to see it when it's just dressed up in a different costume.

So what if China is assisting Russia with satellite imagery and spare parts? The US Empire has no standing to complain about that when it is supplying such imagery to the Ukrainians to be used against Russia. All and nothing are fair in love and war.

Yellen visits China to lecture it? or Yellen visits China to ask for treasury collaboration? If the latter, then she can't be threatening China at the same time.
