Perhaps you should look in the mirror. The ones whose policies have failed are the US and their NATO vassals, whose objective for generations has been to destroy, quarter and colonize Russia. But their Ukrainian army cannot survive without endless weapons, money, training from the CIA, MI6 etc. And European, American and British populations are getting fed up of seeing their own lives devastated for Ukraine. The desperation of the West is shown by their brazen crimes of blowing up the Nordstream pipelines and the Crimean bridge; which directly resulted in shock and awe consequences for Ukraine. Freezing winter beckons....not for Russia which is awash in oil and gas. And its allies keep defying US pressure and strengthening their alliance with Russia, like India just did. Russia is now the # 1 supplier to India........ The end of the US empire is close.... we got a preview of that in the 'humiliating' US exit from Afghanistan, with Russia-hating Pole Breszinki's plan against Russia in that country operating the same way against the US!

The humiliating Russian exit from Kherson (which is Ukraine) is already underway. And happening much much earlier than your US/Afghanistan reference :D :D :D

Goodwill gesture?

Russia never meant to annex it?

Oh but they said they did :D :D :D :D :D :D

Korybko still hasn't accepted that Russia is on verge of an extremely humiliating defeat. Blaming false flag dirty bombs on "Ukronazis" won't hamper Divine justice.

You mean like the destroyed economy and currency of Russia, which Senile Joe announced on the second day of the war? Senile Joe isn't boasting about that anymore, as it's actually Europe, the third world and the US whose economies suffered more. But plenty of fools still think Russia is isolated and weak. Meanwhile the Mayor of Kyiv has told his citizens to prepare for a winter without electricity, water or heat. Oh the Bullshit that comes out of America!

"destroyed economy and currency of Russia?"

Oh, my desires aren't so provincial. :D :D :D :D

Sadly you don't know basic facts. It was Joe Biden who boasted in prime time TV, on the second day of the invasion, after he announced sanctions - that he had destroyed Russia's economy and currency. The ruble temporarily had declined by 30% after the US criminally seized Russia's dollar and euro reserves in Europe. But Putin knew this would happen and took steps.. linking the ruble to gold, silver, commodities: and REFUSING payment except in Russian rubles. The ruble is now back above preinvasion levels, while the Western economies are wracked by skyrocketing food and energy prices and shortages. At least grasp the basic facts before spouting your anti-Russian hysteria.

Ukrainian troops have outnumbered Russians 3:1, received billions in US armaments and have only lost territory since the SMO began. Sure there's been some bungling on the Russian side, but how can you be so dense that you think Ukraine is winning? Especially after Russia deploys hundreds of thousands of reinforcements this winter? Stop getting your news from US propaganda media. It's melting your brain.

Even Korybko finds the latest developments "extremely uncomfortable" in his later piece, but here we have a stupid aNti-iMpEriAliSt mUlti-PoLar Samoan fat-ass who thinks Russia clearing out of Kherson (which Russia now regarded as a part of the Russian Federation) is Ukraine "only losing territory since the '''''''SMO''''''' began".

Were you dropped on your head? You really need to break out of your neo-liberal programming because you sound legitimately retarded.

You not only sound, but really are genuinely delusional. I refuted your argument with logic (plus ad hominems), you responded with merely ad hominems. Fat-ass!

That is also US BS. The Russians did suffer heavy losses in their earlier incursion into Kyiv, because of guerilla tactics used by the CIA trained Nazis - hiding in cities behind civilians. So the Russians withdrew, then withdrew from Kherson to encourage the thugs hiding in the forest to reveal themselves, from which position they are being picked off from the air.

You may be right. Andrew K's latest article discusses 3 possible interpretations, one of which supports your statement. But the strategic reason may simply be the high probability of terrorism attack by Kyiv on the dam, as AK suggests.
