I don’t believe Crooks was a registered Republican. I believe the subservient mass media is obfuscating his background. Other reports indicated he was an Antifa member. And the Democrats are behind Antifa and BLM, their rent-a-mobs.

I don't think he was a "real" Republican either, he probably just registered as such (if the reports are even true, that is), perhaps to deflect from his true views since he might have plotted this for some time.

Excellent and in my opinion, very accurate analysis. The title says it all.

Or, if the attempt HAD succeeded and Trump be dead, naturally the shooter’s credentials would be perfectly concocted to work in the Dems favor of framing the shooter as a Republican fringe right winger. Certainly wouldn’t help their narrative otherwise.

That shooter was a walking dead man. Whoever was behind him was going to make sure he could not divulge anything.

In the heavens now, Mars, god of war, is in close conjunction(in Taurus) with violent/unpredictable Uranus. Both planets are in a close square to Trump's Mars in Leo. Literally Trump's life force. Trump's Mars is in the 12th house of misfortune. In the chart of the USA there is a Pluto return foretelling massive, violent life changing events where we enter a new, unprecedented world, never to return to what was. Buckle up friends, life just got orders of magnitude more interesting. Apparently the stakes got much higher in west Asia over night as Bibi says, "hold my beer" and massively engages with Hezbollah. Oh boy...the shit literally hit the fan. The reality of astrology hasn't survived 5000 years by being BS.

This is "textbook" astrology.

Anyway...great analysis. Thanks Andrew.

I haven't seen any better analysis than this.

The security lapse is the only thing that matters now. It needs to be explained quickly. I was astonished at how quickly the assassin was taken out after letting his shots go. To me that suggests the shooter was in someone's sights before he fired. And how does someone get to a building on a security perimeter openly carrying a rifle? And how does no message get to the team on the stage for minutes of time? To me, the entire scenario is beyond suspicious.

The FBI will NEVER explain fully the security lapse. Remember the Warren Commission?

Not to mention their behavior in the prior Trump admin. Why Trump would go along with their involvement in this investigation is hard to understand. That would be doubly true if this guy has any assn with Antifa (and he did make political donations via Act Blue according to USA Today). It has always seemed weird that FBI could get 8 agents around a halfwift who they convinced to say he wanted to shoot Witmar, but just cant get anyone inside Antifa inspite of documented violent actions and obsession with tactics and guns. Doubly suspicious that kids of prominent DC actors are members.

Very convenient they killed the deranged, lone gunman." Have we not been deceived by this bullshit many times in my lifetime alone? JFK, RFK, MLK,...all crazed, lone gunmen! America has already descended into chaos, and the violence will only intensify now that this attempted assassination has taken place.

From what witnesses said, the shooter was killed by local police, not the Secret Service, if that makes any difference.

He was 20 years old, was a registered Republican, but had donated money to a Democratic fundraising group, so he had definitely consumed some vitriolic propaganda about Trump. That's all we know now.

I don't know. There's a LOT I don't know, like how the shooter was allowed access to that building in the first place, or why the police and SS snipers seemed to be looking everywhere EXCEPT where he actually was until after he began shooting.

I shook JFK's hand sometime in 1962 when I was 4. Yeah, the deep state of the time took him out. Now it sure looks like this was a LIHOP attempt on Trump, and it failed in spectacular fashion.

But back in the 60s and 70s the Empire could coup just about any Latin American country that got out of line. Now, they can't even coup Bolivia. It seems they can't pull off an assassination without mucking it up, either.

Hello Mister A.Korybkos

Trump and the assassination attempt

A lot is written about the assassination, about the reporting and why who did not do what, but I have not read in any text whether mainstream, block or alternative media, the real question who benefits from it?

In advance, however, we have to mention a few points that, in my view, have become more important due to the assassination.

- Indian politician Atiq Ahmed shot dead in assassination attempt

- we have the assassination of Slovak President FICO

- then there was the testimony of Budanov chief of the ukr. Secret service that has tried to assassinate Putin several times, but he is too well protected.

Of course, some Democrats will now call others Republicans beneficiaries, so let’s try some basic lighting. Of course, here as there, the actual protagonists Trump and Biden are not informed - the US principle of deniability applies all the more.

Let’s start with Trump’s side.

So what would the Republicans gain

Popularity, a boost higher than 44%, what else? Somewhere I had read that the approval between the two should be 40 and 44%. Trump wants to end the Ukraine conflict, but he would have to become president. Because the US and NATO have just defined their actual opponent in Washington - China. Trump poses the question of the future of NATO. As an economist as he sees himself, he is only interested in the fact that the USA remains the number 1 ahead of China in economic raking.

What would the democrats gain from this

If Trump were out of the race, it would be easier to take Biden out of the race, which both parties would have to set up a new candidate, which would increase the chances for the Democrats again. The conflict in Ukraine could continue to weaken Russia, which does not really work, but that is "a minor matter". Because this also prevents the Reps from bringing the corruption swamp around Biden in Ukraine to light. NATO was saved for the first time.

This results in 2 new candidates who would be there - my speculation with the Democrats a Michelle Obama or a George Clooney - or why he just moved into the spotlight and asked Biden to withdraw, The US has had a showman as president before and that would fit wonderfully with the Ukrainian president.

The Reps probably the Ron DeSantis, otherwise I don’t see any other Republicans as a German. The Republicans have a problem that can be observed in many Western parties, they have fixed themselves for years on one person, so that in case they have a personal problem, a person for whom the majority of the party would speak out.

Robert Kennedy could run as an independent.

If we can agree on the effect so far, there are further considerations.

Not only the USA but the entire Western world is facing drastic consequences. The crushing of Russia and the resulting fragmentation has not worked in any way so far, which was a fundamental mistake in the Western way of thinking, which has failed everyone since Napoleon. It was rejoiced that the invasion of RF in Ukraine in 2022 has brought NATO even closer together and with Sweden and Finland have joined 2 countries in the western world. But in the same way the people in Russia have moved together and also in the former Soviet republics one has been able to observe very closely what happens when one trusts the West unconditionally - recent example Georgia, which has enacted a law, which has been common in the United States since 1938 (The Foreign Agents Registration Act is a United States law passed in 1938) The EU takes this as an opportunity to stop the accession talks.

I always assume that there is a positive or white deep state and a negative or black deep state. The former is currently hidden behind Trump, because they have noticed what geopolitically turns against the US for the bad, and the second stand behind Biden, because they do not want to give up their strategy, which is just so wonderfully anchored in the minds of 80% - keyword Corona pandemic, the next is already in preparation, beautiful colorful diverse world, today man tomorrow woman the day after tomorrow dog and one day later what I know.

As a person who until the first half of his life was socialised almost 40 of his life and then had to recognize with frightening 1989 / 90 that the whole was ideologically heated, I recognize the same patterns.

Here is an excerpt from the well-known GDR civil rights activist, who very quickly defined the principle of the political caste in the FRG after 1990 with the following words:

"The constant denunciation will come again.

The constant lying will come back.

All these investigations, the thorough investigation of the Stasi structures, the methods they have worked with and are still working with, all this will fall into the wrong hands. These structures will be studied in detail - and then adopted.

They will be adapted a little bit in the Federal Republic of Germany to fit into a free Western society. There are finer ways to get someone out of harm’s way. But the secret prohibitions, the observation, the suspicion, the fear, the isolation and exclusion, the branding and mouth-killing of those who do not conform - that will come back, believe me.

You will create facilities that work much more effectively, much finer than the Stasi. Also the constant lying will come back, the disinformation, the fog in which everything loses its contour."

Read here in the original

https://philosophia-perennis.com/2020/01/14/baerbel-bohley-das-staendige-denunzieren-wird-wiederkommen/

So we see that this is not only a problem of the FRG but it is as we can see now a problem of the whole western world. Of course, someone could come now and say that there is also in RF and China etc., possible, but at this point is not our topic.

So if we know who is behind the assassination, we can deduce the targets, because the facts are obvious.

It’s obvious that behind Biden pulling the strings of others, why should that be different in the Trump case? Politics always reminds me of the mafia or of documentation about the emergence of today’s large corporations that started from family businesses. Why is that? Especially with the mafia, the old grandees were always trying to attract as little attention as possible in order to be able to pursue his business in peace and to make in no case police and justice to the opponent, rather to buy them. They then also received hints for their public success, which in no way influenced the big business. The young savages in the hierarchy wanted to oust the elders at the top, they wanted to have their own businesses say that. This is exactly how you can see parallels in the former family businesses and in today’s big politics. We see this very clearly in the USA and with some delay in Germany - be it Black Lives Matter or People of Color or LGBTQ na and do not forget the climate movement. All of them are concerned with what I call the food pot, power and money.

Now, in geopolitics, we have the problem that the US itself has caused, with its sanctions policy. The dollar is on the decline and that not only since 2022 or 2014 as many think, no the dollar has quote:" Since 1971, the dollar has lost 97 percent against gold. "So when we look at the assassination of Trump, we have to take many different perspectives and include facts that seem to have nothing to do with it.

Ultimately, it is about the existence of the alleged democracy in the Western world and a dictatorship shaped by financial capitalism and tech companies. In his farewell speech of 17 January 1961, former US President Dwight Eisenhower explicitly warned against the entanglements and influences of the military-industrial complex in the USA. Today we have to include the tech and financial groups.

Things are bad. Assassination attempts are anathema to democratic republics. But don’t make Trump out to be a hero or savior. I guess the infighting among the neocon/neolib elites of the US national security  state has gotten vicious these days. So much money to make and so little time! NATO is the grift that keeps giving for both parties. The fight is whether to make money off weapon sales to Europe or Israel…because they (probably the neocon wing) want to pivot to China, who they see as the greater threat and potentially a more lucrative conflict.  They know  Ukraine is a lost cause and they lack capacity to fight on three fronts. I see a pivot to China and Trump cutting a deal with the EU to keep funding NATO if elected and directing it toward “containing” China. And of course, continuing to fund Israel’s genocide of Palestinians…we’ve seen this movie several times now and we know how it ends. It’s my guess that it’s mainly the traditional neocon hardliners that want to pivot to China asap and it’s becoming clear that they must end the war in Ukraine in order to make that pivot…

Congress basically supports both factions because the grift is so good that even they get in on the deals. Still not sure if Trump will shut down Ukraine though if elected…I would imagine an assassination attempt has him a bit skittish about upsetting either faction. He’ll be just another puppet and do as he’s told.

Good points. I would say that the neocons, the hardliners rule. There is no disagreement among elites that China must be dealt with. But if they can't win against Russia, how in the world do they expect to do better against China? They're crazy.

The Black Lives Matters flags were flying over nearly every US embassy in the world. The State Department was the driving force behind BLM. Most if not all the BLM leaders have been flushed out for corruption. Real Americans have been reacting adversely to police brutality and repression since the 1960s. The BLM activity was cooked up by the Federal government. Barack Obama never invited Harry Belafonte to the White House. Obama never gave a thought to racism and repression, and Biden spoke the infamous words "I don't want my kids going to school in a jungle." Blacks are poorer and more disenfranchised now than they have been in the interim since the 1960s. BLM was a smokescreen, and the Russians are the boogeyman. Meanwhile, power has been increasingly consolidated, and the deep state flourishes. The State Dept is the deep state, and BLM was their project.

There is no credible evidence that the State Department was the driving force behind Black Lives Matter. Absolutely none. You're making stuff up. Most BLM leaders were corrupt? Positively false and you have no evidence for that. There was one prominent case. So, BLM people weren't "real Americans" and weren't responding to police brutality and repression. Instead, it was all a smokescreen cooked up by the State Department. That is an insult to all the people who actually went out and tried to change things for the better. And you have a problem with that. Who knows why.

Hubbard goes on to accuse BLM of focusing on white-on-black racism, particularly in the form of police brutality, instead of focusing on the black-on-black violence that afflicts some black communities.

“If anyone is surprised by Hubbard’s emergence, or that there are like-minded black people who are encouraging her, it is only because large swaths of the media cover the black community as if conservative voices like hers don’t even exist,” wrote Conor Friedersdorf in The Atlantic.

"There is no credible evidence that the State Department was the driving force behind Black Lives Matter. Absolutely none. You're making stuff up. Most BLM leaders were corrupt? Positively false and you have no evidence for that." - I have provided support for all of that. And that's a mere ten minutes of research. You have not provided a thing. Nothing apart from your accusations, which are rude and uninformed. What did BLM accomplish? A handful of people made money, some disappeared. some are under investigation and some have been prosecuted. The movement is teetering on bankruptcy, there's a new scandal every couple of months...This did more than MLK Jr and civil disobedience? This did more than Armstrong and Belafonte and Ali? Show me something to support your claims. And show me something...anything...to explain how BLM flags flying over a US embassy is not unprecedented and illegal.

"So, BLM people weren't "real Americans" and weren't responding to police brutality and repression." You said that. I never said anything of the sort. Your term "weren't real Americans" is vulgar, demeaning and childish at best.

What I have said is that BLM is at heart a color revolution. That doesn't mean you or anyone else was not sincere in supporting it. It means you got used. Just like the 500,000 dead in Ukraine. Used like toilet paper and left behind in the mud. The Federal government was entirely behind Maidan. They were entirely behind BLM. That's why we can see the sudden ramp up coincident with lockdowns, on a national basis, with massive funding, corruption from the onset, t-shirts and banners popping up like mushrooms (and they're going down), "mostly peaceful protests" as proclaimed by media reading from government cue cards, police standing down while cars and malls burned, and a huge push for globalism. Everyone associated with that has confessed their intentions to create a global society...one in which they occupy the top positions of socio-economics and power. You and Mimi want to pretend that "this one is different." That's never happened in modern history. People in power who have access to clandestine and complete power are always pitting the masses against one another.

Politics will never solve the problem of racism. A person who is entirely indifferent to color of anything else is suddenly wound up and insisting that the color of someone's skin is a defining factor with respect to who and what they are and how they should be treated. That is entirely irrational. If humans insist on being entirely irrational, no amount of politics will change that.

That's why I do not participate in the political process, and why I am spending an enormous amount of time and energy (and foregoing a hell of a lot of money) in an effort to address the issue from the standpoint of brain function and mind. So no, I'm not MAGA, I'm not a Republican, I'm not a conservative, nor am I the opposite of any of those things. I think independently. You and Mimi got used. That's unfortunate, but it doesn't excuse childish outbursts at a stranger. It should be clear to anyone reading this, including yourselves, that your ugly and personal attacks are the precise tool those who manipulate you desire to access.

What I do stand for and believe in is peace. ☮

Much too much to respond to. But let's take one thing you said and see where it takes us.

So, you said: "So, BLM people weren't "real Americans" and weren't responding to police brutality and repression. You said that. I never said anything of the sort"

Really? You never said that? You never said anything of the sort. Oh dear, but what's this; "The State Department was the driving force behind BLM. Most if not all the BLM leaders have been flushed out for corruption. Real Americans have been reacting adversely to police brutality and repression since the 1960s. The BLM activity was cooked up by the Federal government."

So, there it is. You clearly imply BLM people weren't "Real Americans," that, instead, "Real Americans" have been reacting to police brutality and real repression since the 1960s. So not only don't you think BLM protesters were real Americans, but you also don't think what they were protesting was real police brutality or real repression. Instead, what they were doing was the result of some sort of conspiracy cooked up by the State Department. And most, if not all, BLM leaders were corrupt. There it is. That's what the record shows.

So apparently, as far as you're concerned, the BLM people were nothing more than dupes, played for suckers by dark forces and corrupt leaders. And what that means is that that you don't want protests because you really don't believe there's anything to protest, and besides, according to you, anyone who would protest is a fake American who has been tricked into protesting by the State Department, Wow! That is much too much to swallow.

That's it. Now I am done. Best, Jim

I'm very sorry but you do not get to dodge providing a single piece of substantive information. Everything you wrote is an assertion. And you're trying to claim I have no support for my position? Your exact words are "Much too much to respond to. " That's very funny. You insisted I had nothing to support my argument. I gave it to you and you confirm it's way more than you can handle. Or didn't you even notice how ridiculous that looks? And so...you have absolutely no response to what I've offered, and now you would like to dismiss it and cherry pick a single point. That's childish and manipulative when the bottom line is that you have NOTHING to offer. And you've been proclaiming you're some kind of expert in this arena...and you're a blogger. A blogger making assertions he cannot support with any information whatsover...? People refer to that sort of thing as "propaganda." You have been rude, I have been patient, and it turns out you have NOTHING to offer.

I am not going to allow you to cherry pick it. You said I had nothing, I've made the same arguments the Kremlin made about Maidan...and you have made nasty open ended insinuations about my motivations. Is that how you persuade people in your blog - by being rude, making vulgar insinuations about my motivations, and claiming expertise in an area in which you were obviously played for a fool?

As far as your unprofessional and entirely revealing desperate attempt to cherry pick, it is dwarfed by the outrageous distortion you tried to pull off. What I wrote was "Real Americans have been reacting adversely to police brutality and repression since the 1960s."

What you wrote was "So, you said: "So, BLM people weren't "real Americans" and weren't responding to police brutality and repression. You said that. I never said anything of the sort"

Now, since you are such an accomplished expert (and not a hapless dupe played by Marxists) - please explain how you got from the words I wrote to "So, BLM people weren't "real Americans" and weren't responding to police brutality and repression."

You can't and it's not as if I am about to spend more time placating an obviously immature person that cannot make a post here without including something rude, personal and inappropriate, and without lying. What you claim I said is not at all what I said. Further, it is absolute truth that EVERY BLACK PERSON IN AMERICA AGREES WITH WHAT I WROTE HERE. Every last one. Where do you get off trying to lie about what I wrote when it's right here in front of you?

"So apparently, as far as you're concerned, the BLM people were nothing more than dupes, played for suckers by dark forces and corrupt leaders." Yes, that is in essence along the lines of what I have said. Dupes and suckers.

"And what that means is that that you don't want protests because you really don't believe there's anything to protest, and besides, according to you, anyone who would protest is a fake American who has been tricked into protesting by the State Department, Wow! That is much too much to swallow."

It is too much to swallow, because you continue to lie.

Show me where I said I don't want people to protest. Show me. You're a complete smoke blower, you distort the plain meaning of words directly in front of you, YOU HAVE NOT OFFERED A SINGLE SUBSTANTIVE POINT...

and you are quite the child. This is how immature people attempt to dismiss others when winning the argument at any and all costs is considered more important than knowing the truth.

That's how you got duped and played for a sucker, son.

But if you're so certain you're right and so proud of the complete absence of information (after demanding it from me), then let's just post this all over social media and call attention to your comments and mine. It should be terrific advertising for you. None of this is at all confidential...but you knew that, of course.

That is, it might be...if you even had a blog.

Apparently you get overwhelmed by even a small amount of information. Does pretending you have a blog make you think you know so much more than anyone else that you can be rude, condescending, dismissive and that you can control the conversation because it's more suitable for the politically naive who are duped and played with each new government initiative?

"Coming soon." Just like the freedom and fairness that Joe Biden promised the young blacks today who rent but do not own and need to pay for gas and food that is rapidly inflating due to Marxist policies. Young blacks have suffered more in the current administration than ever before in history. They have experienced declining real wages each month for years during this administration. While you wear a t-shirt, hold up a placard, and then go to Starbucks for a latte.

I think I understand just how corrupt the CIA is….probably better than you. Obviously you missed the use of military assets against protesters calling out police brutality in 2020. For example, helicopter, national guard troops, and far right neonazi paramilitary groups. Maybe just maybe the armed forces were trying to “put down” a real insurrection. You can’t extrapolate that to USAID-funded NGOs doing regime change operations..like the Maidan Coup operations in 2014. The 2020 situation was a purely domestic situation.

Expand full comment

I believe you are arguing with something you believe or said I implied as opposed to something I may have said. I don't have any sense the CIA is anything other than corrupt. To whom, for whom, to what purposes I have no idea.

I'm assuming you have not worked for them or directly with them. Beyond that, one can read about it, and one can even apply for an agent position. They talk a lot about the reality of agency work with people who apply for such a position. The description they give would not convince anyone of any legitimacy of purpose, and they said that was entirely intentional. It was pretty close to "Just go away."

I did not miss any of the news during Covid or otherwise - I am a geopolitical investor and I don't feel I can afford to miss news. I also recall watching law enforcement stand down in the face of aggressively violent protests and looting, and I recall prosecutors refusing to prosecute anyone. Those are not results normally seen from organic movements of any kind, given that would be entirely impossible.

" You can’t extrapolate that to USAID-funded NGOs doing regime change operations..like the Maidan Coup operations in 2014. The 2020 situation was a purely domestic situation."

I believe it is my turn to suggest a certain naivety in your perspective. I doubt you have ever been to Ukraine, or that you had familiarity with the local politics in the years leading up to Maidan. You are pointing at US funded NGOs. Who do you think provides the funding? Who calls the shots? Who had the prosecutor fired? That was Joe Biden. Whose son made a couple million consulting in an area in which he had no expertise, with an understanding that he could call on his father for favors if necessary. This "understanding" is well documented. We can call the destruction of Ukraine and subsequent deaths of half a million Ukrainians an "international" situation, but the White House was in charge. Barack Obama stated on camera that "We brokered in a new administration." Democracy at its best, rammed down the throats of a weaker nation.

Those are the same people who pulled the strings for BLM. It is only those people, and no one else, who could have possibly arranged for BLM flags to be flying at the embassies. You don't have to care the embassies flew BLM flags, you don't have to care about Ukraine or the dead Ukrainians and those who mourn them, and you don't have to care about anyone but yourself. You do, however, have to provide an alternative explanation for how those flags were possible at those embassies or I cannot afford merit to your argument that the BLM riots were somehow "organic."

You may find it strange that I agree with almost everything you’ve just said…but the bottom line is millions of Americans protested against police oppression of black people in 2020. I don’t care if you’re the CIA or Jesus Christ…you cannot simply incite millions of people to riot without an organic cause. Don’t cloak your racism in righteousness.

You have called me a racist. I am not white. You are apparently emotionally disturbed.

I've told you I was well aware of the protests. You don't need to repeat yourself.

If you want to believe people cannot be incited to riot without an organic cause, you are apparently entirely unfamiliar with the phenomenon known as Marxism, and the texts that elucidate its practices. It is central to my point that people have such an emotional connection to the political arguments that are used to manipulate them that they can ultimately be incited to riot. Look at yourself. You lost your self control, you got pissed off, you called me a racist, and now everyone reading this understands you lack self control.

People in Ukraine did not believe they were any different from Russians. Nobody looked at it that way. The US got involved and "brokered" their preferred people they felt could be readily manipulated. The US CIA set up all sorts of NGOs to "educate" Ukrainians and "support their culture." They got them worked up, appealed to their emotions, and radicalized them. It happened to one of our relatives and she is now estranged from her own mother.

The Hegemonic state steps in, purports to help, creates dependencies and obtains leverage. They did it with black people here. Look at how hot you got You don't even know me, and you don't know a thing about me. You certainly don't know what race I am. What you did is say "I don't agree with you about the ultimate cause of the riots. YOU MUST BE A RACIST."

Free your mind, Mimi. ☯

You have no idea of the degree to which I understand Ukraine and Russia, my assessment of the conflict in Ukraine, or my background. I didn’t comment on any of that. I specifically said that the 2020 race riots in the US were organic. Queue the ad hominem attack. Based on your comments, you appear to have little regard for “the masses” of humanity, since you think common people don’t occasionally rise up against their oppressors for legitimate reasons. I’m as well-versed as most commenters here on geopolitics, history, and philosophy, including Marxism. So spare me the pseudo-intellectualism. I refuse to deny the self-agency of “the masses.” Therefore, any attempt to shame me for not reverberating the echo chamber message is futile. Good evening.

So what? I don’t care that embassies flew BLM flags. A stopped clock is right two times a day. I’m an American. I’ve lived with deep violent racial oppression my entire life (decades). I was here…the riots of 2020 were organic. Millions took to the streets all across the U.S. to protest police brutality against black men. They were ignited by a young girl’s video of a law enforcement officer snuffing out the life of a black man during an arrest. Trust me…it ain’t the first time that’s happened in America and it won’t be the last. The U.S. is a violent and oppressive nation. Isn’t that obvious to all by now?

I'm an American, my daddy was not white, and I played in the Projects in the early 1960s which had toys while we did not because my parents went bankrupt. None of that means I have the slightest idea of what I am talking about.

There are laws and regulations regarding embassy flags and these were gross and unprecedented violations of same. That is hardly a "stopped clock." Obviously something very big and very significant resulted in those violations.

The larger and more systematic the riot, the more certain it has been planned and paid for by others looking for specific results, and the masses are invariably manipulated. That is true where ever one goes, in place and in time. The masses have been manipulated many times in the past in America. It has never been "organic."

The US is a violent and oppressive nation. Arguably the worst. I simply do not agree that these riots were unplanned or unfunded, or that they were organic. History advises there are no exceptions with respect to large systematic disturbances. History also advises the truth may not come out for decades, and it may never be entirely clear.

Most assuredly not. I'm among the precious few remaining who knows Obama should have invited Harry Belafonte to the White House, and that the fact that he didn't spoke volumes as to his indifference to black/white racial issues in America. Belafonte was a primary contributor, and some argue the primary strategist, in the Civil Rights movement. Obama's being elected meant Belafonte would finally get his due, and it was only the older generation that recognized the affront when he never received an invitation. I'm also well aware that while Smokey Robinson took over at Soultown on SiriusXM, he still cannot speak David Ruffin's name. I don't even support the oppression of David Ruffin's memory. 😎

Your comments are all over the map and contradictory. It's impossible to know what yo r views actually are. The police killed more people last year than ever. The large systemic riots occurred only inside your head. No one planned or paid for them because they never happened. Videos of police brutalizing demonstrators were endless. The police caused most of the violence and lawlessness, not demonstrators. You have no idea how social movements start and grow. It's a waste of time to try to make any real sense out of your comments. I'm done with them.

No, they are not I have been clear as a bell and I provided the documentation you requested. All you had to say is "that's too much to respond to," "you're a racist," "your motives are questionable," and then you wanted to cherry pick a single remark which you attempted to misstate and distort until it was all but unrecognizable.

But if you're struggling, let me be clear. BLM was a color revolution. People were paid handsomely to protest. It was pretty much the same deal as Ukraine, albeit you don't have to pay much to get rioters when people make very little money. BLM was pricey, a lot was embezzled, the organization has been teetering on bankruptcy...

And it didn't accomplish a thing. Look at your own comments.

"The police killed more people last year than ever." So it would appear BLM accomplished nothing. You can explain that, or I can tell you they had no interest in advancing the concerns of black people. They had an interest in the money and people who were making next to nothing previously bought mansions and luxury vacations.

Oh, sorry. You decided I had provided "too much" information, which you feel you are entitled to then completely ignore and not address. Then you distorted one thing I said to try to make me out to be a racist.

You and Mimi are having a field day calling me a racist, while at the same time refusing to address the information YOU SPECIFICALLY DEMANDED.

You and Mimi are white, and I am not. Mimi professes extensive familiarity with Maidan. I lived in Crimea and attempted to buy property there. Most of my family is from there. We have family members who do not speak, completely disrespect one another, and support opposite sides in the war. And they lived in my house here for six months as Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees that I provided sponsorship for....even with the extreme friction. I know where they were radicalized, when they were radicalized, and how they were radicalized.

It starts with playing on people's anger. You stoke them and insist it's the other guys who are the problem. You infer those people are not as good as you and that they should live their lives the way you see fit, and not in freedom.

Organic social movements do not rise rapidly. The t shirts and bumper stickers don't spring up overnight. There are no "executive directors" making half a million a year.

Were either of you alive during the first civil rights movement? I don't get the impression you know anything of what happened, who made the wheels turn, how little money was involved...and it resulted in a certain degree of change.

You've just asserted BLM only resulted in police brutalizing protestors and more killing by police.

A real blogger would post the numbers and some references. You only ask others to do that, then ignore them. That's rude in anyone's book.

For the record, I really don't like being anywhere near the police. Use your imagination if that seems difficult to understand.

The riots...I saw a lot of looting, fire and destruction of property, and I recall the media insisting these were "mostly peaceful protests." Given that became a meme, I would imagine you two, who are so well informed, remember that. In organic grass roots social change, the mainstream media does not pimp for the protestors. In color revolutions, that was the order of the day. It was in fact the depiction by US media of the Ukrainian palace guard as brutal that opened my eyes. I'm not interested in what propagandists bark when the truth is right in front of me. Those guys showed incredible restraint, and if you are in fact familiar with the details, you know exactly what kind of weapons and explosives they faced. Yet US media said they were brutal and repressive. While BLM riots were "mostly peaceful."

Those are clues to truth but one must keep an open mind to get any kind of remotely objective look.

"You have no idea how social movements start and grow." Really? And where did you get your expertise in this? You're only a pretend blogger, not a real one, remember?

"It's a waste of time to try to make any real sense out of your comments."

You specifically declined to try. You asked for the information, then you said it was too much, and all you wanted to do is rewrite what I said to call me a racist. So please drop this offensive pretense that I am not understandable when you specifically declined to try. After being rude, wasting my time, and calling me a racist.

You were duped, you had no idea you were used, and by your own admission nothing was accomplished while some of the principals embezzled extensively. If you donated, those people used your money to go on vacation. I can understand your being upset about it. If you can't open your mind and learn something, you will be taken again and again. I'm not the one who wasted your time, stole your money, and never had any intention of helping black people generally. You can't get to them and you don't have the integrity to admit you got duped, so you must insist I am a racist. I hope you are proud of calling people racists. It is the only thing you have accomplished, and it makes clear you are both sufficiently radicalized to understand that the point is in directing your anger at others...others the people in power told you to attack. Black people are still screwed.

POW/MIA flags: These flags have been flown at US embassies to show support for prisoners of war and those missing in action.

Hostage and Wrongful Detainee flags: These flags have been flown to show support for hostages and wrongful detainees.

State flags: US embassies have flown state flags, such as the flag of a state or a “insular area” or DC, Indian tribal government flag, the official branded flag of a US agency, and the sovereign flag of another nation.

These are the only historical references to flying other flags at US Embassies. If you can find another please post it here. It should be painfully obvious politically partisan flags are everything that should never be displayed near the flag.

The words "flag, standard, colors, or ensign", as used herein, shall include any flag, standard, colors, ensign, or any picture or representation of either, or of any part or parts of either, made of any substance or represented on any substance, of any size evidently purporting to be either of said flag, standard, colors, or ensign of the United States of America or a picture or a representation of either, upon which shall be shown the colors, the stars and the stripes, in any number of either thereof, or of any part or parts of either, by which the average person seeing the same without deliberation may believe the same to represent the flag, colors, standard, or ensign of the United States of America...

§7. Position and manner of display

The flag, when carried in a procession with another flag or flags, should be either on the marching right; that is, the flag's own right, or, if there is a line of other flags, in front of the center of that line.

The flag should not be displayed on a float in a parade except from a staff, or as provided in subsection (i) of this section.

The flag should not be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle or of a railroad train or a boat. When the flag is displayed on a motorcar, the staff shall be fixed firmly to the chassis or clamped to the right fender.

No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States at any place within the United States or any Territory or possession thereof: Provided, That nothing in this section shall make unlawful the continuance of the practice heretofore followed of displaying the flag of the United Nations in a position of superior prominence or honor, and other national flags in positions of equal prominence or honor, with that of the flag of the United States at the headquarters of the United Nations."...

§10. Modification of rules and customs by President

Any rule or custom pertaining to the display of the flag of the United States of America, set forth herein, may be altered, modified, or repealed, or additional rules with respect thereto may be prescribed, by the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States, whenever he deems it to be appropriate or desirable; and any such alteration or additional rule shall be set forth in a proclamation."

The BLM flags were prohibited without an Executive Order to override the statute.

Is anyone aware of such an Executive Order?

Does anyone with a law degree have a different take on this?

Did anyone insisting I'm a racist for telling the truth about this bother to look it up before deciding to support BLM?

Do you feel intellectually and morally superior to me for having missed all of this. then continuing to refuse to acknowledge what I posted, hurl epithets, and show us how you got duped and were pissed?

The BLM flags at the embassies are unequivocal proof BLM is a color revolution, and if you bothered to read Russian news you would have read how the Russians reached that conclusion. The flags at the embassies were a big part of it. How did you miss that?

And are you mature enough to apologize for calling me a racist?

I am not a white man. Do you understand how vile such accusations are? They were made to try to suppress my voice, and the truth, in a public forum.

That makes you the problem. Not me.

It seems that since 1991 there is but a hair’s breadth difference between neocons and neoliberals in the US national security apparatus. Both groups are hardline hawks. We’ve simply been cycling and recycling the same cast of characters regardless of administration. The CIA is doing diplomacy in Israel these days.
