It would be praiseworthy if newly reconciled Iran and Saudi Arabia symbolically bury the hatchet by coming together to politically resolve the Yemeni War, but only if they guarantee South Yemen’s UN-enshrined right to independence as one of the outcomes of whatever deal they mediate.
