There are indeed plans for a conventional Western intervention in Ukraine despite their leaders’ denials over the past two weeks, but they’ve yet to fully form and their execution can’t be taken for granted, but they also can’t be ruled out either.
The language used, the language used. There is no need for "containment" of Russia but there is definitely a need for containment of NATO, the USA, and the EU. None of this would be happening if an agreement had been reached between Ukraine and Russia and it was almost their but US and Boris Johnson interfered. Between EU and USA is why we have all these wars around the world. They have never let go of their colonial imperialist tendencies which have always been operational just more disguised, but now they are full blown for all to see between the genocide in Palestine and the war in Ukraine.

Scenario 1 escalation: a successful Ukrainian military escalation with enhanced US military support but (resulting in) a Trump victory in November, versus scenario 2: US supported negotiation and diminished US military support leading to Ukrainian concessions and a possible Biden victory in November. Which scenario appeals more to the Swamp?
My opinion is that the Swamp fears loosing political power more than loosing Ukraine. What is your opinion?
