Argentina will either stay the course and possibly make financial multipolarity processes irreversible in their region or pivot towards America and potentially set into motion counter-multipolarity processes across the continent.
What a well-written succinct, little analysis: everything I wanted to know in a less-than-five-minute read. Only wish I had more time to consider and dwell on it more carefully and deeply to question and comment on some of the thoughts and issues it raises and inspires.
What benefit has ever accrued to Argentina, or anyone else in the global South for that matter, by aligning with the United States? BRICS represent an opportunity for Argentina to cast off a century or more of American bullying and exploitation. Is it a gamble? Perhaps. But the odds of success look pretty good when stacked against remaining tethered to "the devil you know."
I fully agree with you, but Milei is popular for whatever reason and that's why he surprisingly won the recent primaries in spite of his diehard pro-American policy proposals. A critical mass of Argentinians are therefore attracted to what he's saying, for better or for worse.

Or vice versa.
Maybe I'll come back to it later.
Thanks a lot!
Thank YOU!
