The Norwegian Chief of Defence Eirik Kristoffersen has just said (At the Kirkenes Conference) that he can see no peace before Putin is gone, and appeal to Gerasimov to quit him. He also wants a NATO Nordic headquarter commanded from Norfolk, Virginia, USA and a more "forward" NATO headquarter in Europe. And I think this analysis strengthen my position that China is trying to find out about the real US plans before it starts retaliating in a big scale. And the oppostion to US is growing in Europe. Perhaps China wants to see a split.
