Lukashenko makes strange statements of this kind often. After such statements of his ,many times some Russian official comes out and clarifies it , saying basically that Lukashenko's words shouldn't be taken at face value. Country of Belarus is a protectorate of Russia , it exists on Russian money and resources. There are Russian weapons in Belarus, including Russian nukes ; so Lukashenko sometimes behaves as these weapons were his . Brave Sir Robin.

Is the message, maybe, that if Poland enters Ukraine militarily, Belarus will consider that an act of war against it? (In other words, is Russia signalling that Belarus would enter the war if Poland does?)

"is Russia signalling that Belarus would enter the war if Poland does" - good question, though to this westerner it comes across as oafish, as Luka does well.

Is it an "invasion" if the puppet regime invites the Poles in?

Okay, if I interpret your question differently, it appears closely similar to Cloud's, thus a good question also. Maybe I should change my handle to Luka Oafish!

Not just a rhetorical, question, but lame also.
