India should begin talks with Russia and the US about this right away because time is of the essence as other players vie for the chance to go down in history for helping end the most geostrategically significant conflict since World War II.
Good analysis. The United States and it’s NATO vassals need some acceptable off-ramp for the mess they created. I doubt that Biden ( or his replacement Gavin Newsome ) will want to campaign in 2024 with the Ukraine drama dragging on.

Will a peace pact be possible now that NATO has committed itself to admitting Ukraine once the war is over? Since the point of the “Special Operation” was to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO or serving as a western ally on Russia’s border, it would seem that NATO was shooting itself in the foot by it’s declaration. If I were Mr.Putin I would hardly be prepared to end the war now.
