As with Ukraine, this is another useless, bloody war that the U.S. could end immediately, just by cutting the umbilical cord…

Humanity is closer than ever to Armageddon. The forces behind the destruction of the environment are the same forces behind every war and conflict in the world today, and they are EVIL.

Perhaps Iran should first sort out the very likely security compromise before they commit to any kind of response.

Clearly, Iran has a Massad mole deep inside their command structure.

If they f ind him,he will swiftly face jusice.

I wonder If Turkey will intervene.

So far they've made a lot of noise, and done nothing.... they attac Israel that would give the USa an excuse to drag themselves into a long lasting war with Persia. ..

Turkiye won't intervene, nor will Russia. Erdogan just talks tough to appeal to his base from time to time but isn't going to risk a major war -- let alone possibly getting nuked in the worst-case scenario -- over Palestine.

True. Erdogan sells himself to the highest bidder every day.

I don't believe that it's as simple as him just doing whatever the highest bidder on any given day says.

That implies that different forces are regularly outbidding one another instead of one giving him an overly generous offer just to keep him on their side.

It also suggests that these two or more bidders aren't trying to independently undermine one another through various means to get them to stop bidding.

This scenario is unrealistic and there's no actual evidence in support of it, thus remaining purely Alt-Media speculation, albeit a popular theory among many.

Rather, it seems that he's trying to balance between competing forces, however clumsily it might seem, and sometimes resorts to hyperbolic rhetoric.

He's regularly recalibrating his balancing act, for better or for worse depending on one's views, and that's why it looks like different bidders are telling him what to do.

I see your point of view on this,Andrew

And now that you've made things clearer,

I agree with you.

Alt-media largely live in a fantasy world.

Turkey will not do jack other than talk. The united States has too many levers it can use to force Turkey to bend the knee.

In a scenario perfect to Moscow, if Turkey attacks Israel, Amerika will be required by treaties to send troops to both countries with orders to shoot one another.

Good one...wouldn't that be hilarious.

That's a good plan,Charles. If the point is to break the USA. That would certainly work.

Tisha B'Av (August 12 - 13) would be the perfect and significant day for the BRICS to challenge NATO.

Netanyahu is desperate to start a war between the US and Iran. It's the only way he can hope to hold onto power. He is also apparently dangerously insane, but then again, so is Zionism.

Your report is the first I had heard of this assassination, but it's certainly no surprise. When the genocidal maniac-in-chief spoke to Congress, he said that the American protestors outside were either being paid by or were useful idiots for Iran. He's also blamed Iran for Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, telling Americans they are all controlled fanatical freedom-hating mullahs in Teheran.

The Iranians will respond, but they won't go all crazy. Persians generally don't. And the Pentagon is staunchly opposed to war with Iran because they know they'll suffer MAJOR casualties if they try it.

Every bit as insane as the endless slaughter in Ukraine. Destroying everything without changing the ideologies that caused the conflict fixes nothing. You cannot kill them all and the more destruction and death the harder the hearts become

The ANACHRONIC mode of production called Capitalism is accelerating its own collapse even further: concentration and centralization of capital, overwhelming social inequality and destruction of the environment due to an obsolete system based on insane profit and competition. And the funniest thing: in the midst of a high degree of development of the productive forces that could provide everyone with abundance if the elimination of the myth led to a Resource-Based Economy with Cooperation and central management, without the disgrace of a tribal monetary system!

It's coming...but first Capitalism has to fall. Which it will. Then there will be the big crunch or The Dying. After The Dying, the human race should be able to reconstruct into something sustainable. No one will choose inconvenience over convenience, even if that convenience is destructive in the long run. Human nature. That's where we find ourselves today.

It is abundantly obvious that Israel is seeking to provoke a response so that it can run screaming to its American thug. If Israel does not get the response it seeks, then it simply provokes further.

Needless to say, the United States and its catamites are entirely on board with this.

Now we know what Netanyahu did during his US visit: inform his American vassals that he was planning two assassinations as a foolproof plan to provoke Iran -- and the US -- into a regional war.

In my view as a American, we are tired of the Middle East wars. Several members of my family have humped packs and flown missions over the sand. We are less safe now in the US as ever.

All true, but nobody cares what you or your relatives or I or Americans as a whole think.

If Iran enages in a retaliatory action it must shed blood and it must be the blood of a significant person. Otherwise is irrelevant.

Yesterday, via YouTube 'Mehdi' (? I'm not sure it was him) said that it's appears the ZioIsrealhell wants first use of tactical nuclear bombs and that is why they blamed, then bombed Southern Lebanon for their missile misfiring into Druze/Syrian territory.

After ZioIsrealhell's assassination of Hamas's political leader in the capitol of Iran, I don't think he's absolutely wrong. I do believe ZioIsrealhell is insane and that they do want first use of tactical nuclear weapons (it's rumored that Isrealhell has been building a lot of bunkers of late). I also believe Biden (because he's angry for being pushed out as a candidate and suffers from Alzheimer's disease) gave Netanyahu the go ahead to escalate.

I think Biden believes he can stay as president if his war on Palestine and Western Asia explodes. He wants to be a War Time president and he knows those are the presidents that get remembered and that's the only thing he'll remember as he deteriorates.

There is reason in their madness and it indicates the strong push to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza. Very likely Israeli Arabs might be put involuntary and without knowing on contraceptives...

How can that be when they have NO water or Food or Medicine or Shelter? No, they just want to slaughter anybody they want.

They have absolutely no respect for life, not even their own citizens' lives evidently.

Biden does not know a damn thing.

He doesn't even think about tomorrow, let alone thinking about being & remaining a war time president.

Honestly, how can you be so blind?
