How far the endless Siberian snowfields spread?

The Ukrainian political landscape has entered its most volatile phase since 2014. The latest scandal—uncovered by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU)—has shaken not only Kyiv’s inner circle but also Western capitals that have bankrolled Ukraine’s war effort for nearly three years. What began as a $100 million graft investigation into energy contracts has now reached the doorstep of President Volodymyr Zelensky himself, after his longtime business associate Timur Mindich fled abroad to evade arrest. The allegations suggest Mindich, through political influence and access, manipulated major ministries, including Energy and Defense, during wartime procurement.

The symbolism is devastating. The man who rose to global fame as a crusader against corruption is now politically encircled by it. See also my additional analysis:

Welcome to the Ukro-Israeli axis. If it has not been clear to all from the beginning, now it should be. Understanding this will explain why we have this "Ukraine" problem in the first place.

Everybody knows that Ukraine is corrupt, from top to bottom. Nobody cares, as long as the army remains in the field and fighting.

Andrew, great job bringing this forward, but until he is held to the highest standards, I do not see him being forced out. He may be a wartime leader, but corruption runs deep in the US and in Ukraine.

No matter how far it goes, it cannot top the Holohoax scandal that keeps on being another income source for ever more generations.
