There are two ways to interpret Zelensky’s decision to fire his Defense Minister: he’s either making a superficial change ahead of likely running for re-election sometime next spring in order to placate his increasingly fatigued and frustrated people, or the US is further consolidating its influence over him.
"There are two ways to interpret Zelensky’s decision...the US is further consolidating its influence over him."
The US couldn't give two hoots (or anything else, be it either more or less repulsive) about what Zelensky, or anyone else, thinks. If they can make themselves feel better (about themselves, e.g. by blaming someone else), then that's what they'll do. Don't kid yourself Zelensky's, or anyone else's, opinion is of any value to them (other than how it may be used to further their perceived aims) or has anything to do with it (or anything else).
"Zelensky confirmed..."
And if he's stupid enough to think it might work any way other than as outlined above — Great! — the more stupid an idiot is, the more useful s/he may be.
"...Zelensky’s decision..."
Yawn! You gotta be kidding, right?
"...managing Ukrainian-US perceptions..."
You mean you reckon the Americans might be worried some Ukrainians are not stupid enough to vote as they should?
Or are you thinking some (potentially critical mass of) Americans might do a sudden wakey-wakey?
This is new(s) to you? They will perpetuate their war(s) until they are defeated conclusively, so they can stand no more and fall to their knees. That's when a stake needs to be driven through their perverted and shrivelled heart.
"...inadvertently resulting in America reprioritizing China’s containment."
Right... And you were thinking something might stop them doing this and lead them to do something else? Or, perhaps you were thinking when they say something like, e.g. they have stopped prioritising China's containment, it could mean they have actually done what they've said they've done, rather than the opposite?

More yawning... And? So what?
"...US’ liberal-globalist policymaking faction clearly envisages perpetuating..."

"...unable to effectively contain China."
Oh dear!
"...Zelensky convinced himself..."
Yep, just can't get enough of them idiots!
"...could ruin Zelensky’s and/or Biden’s re-election prospects..."
Oh dear!
"...force the US to reprioritize China’s containment."
Now, that could be interesting: perhaps the only way to save face.
Is that a false flag I spy fluttering somewhere not-so-far away?
Certainly smells like it to me!
