I have followed BRICS from early on when it was just BRIC. I have read both MSM and AMC and I do not recognize this interpretation of the AMC. The article seems to set up AMC as a straw man. My reading of AMC does not support the idea that BRICS is "anti-west" but rather pro the Global Majority (aka Global South). Additionally it is well known that trading in local currencies is only a small step toward the creation of a new reserve currency which will not be the currency of any single nation. This process is working at a reasonable pace. No one in the Global Majority wants to crash the global economy and create widespread chaos and poverty, it will take time. However, sufficient momentum has developed and de-dollarization has become inevitable. Could easily take another 10 years or even more but the worm is turning.
