So, first, the neocon geniuses use sanctions and aggression to shove Russia into the outstretched arms of China, converting Europe's cheap gas station into China's cheap gas station and forging a critical defense partnership against the west. Then, instead of realizing their obvious error, ithe neocons double down on Ukraine and bear ifangs at China, emphasizing further the west's insanity (as if woke hedonism didn't already accomplish that). Then, as circumstances would have it, India becomes a new distributor for Russian energy, giving Russia an opportunity to invest its excess rupees into Indian economic development and making Russia a new market for Indian manufactured goods, all while positioni g Russia to be the balancer of Indian sensibilities against China's. Man, those neocons are just the most amazing collection of geopolitical geniuses. They couldn't have done any worse if the British themselves had planned it all out. Will these people ever admit to themselves what fools they are, or will they blow us all up first?

Putin never fails to impress—a ”nobody” appointed to manage Communist Russia’s halting march off the world’s stage ends up doing the impossible—indeed, the impossibly to imagine. But what will Russia do without him? On hearing that “Uncle Joe” was dead people ran into the streets, weeping. And for VVP? Scary.

Excellent analysis but you need to make more explicit the existential Russia-China axis in terms of confronting the aggressive US military strategy (Do they have another choice?) to halt their inevitable decline from planetary hegemon and undisputed leader of the rules-based international order. I do not think India can play that role both for reasons of geography and and military prowess and capabilities.

Dima of Military Summary just said India owes Russia a great deal of money for oil that was already heavily discounted, and is having difficulty in making payment. Does anyone have more or a different take on that? Thank you in advance. ☮

The sanctions that the imperialist US government has put on countries that have commerce with Russia is the reason India hasn’t paid for the oil. India and Russia want to increase trade between their countries. Any “hick up “ will be worked out in time.

NEW DELHI, July 11. /TASS/. India's state-owned oil refiners are in talks with Russia about concluding a long-term oil import deal, Reuters reported with reference to a government source.

According to the source, "India and Russia have yet to finalise terms, such as the payment currency, for the imports, the source said, declining to be named because of the sensitivity of the matter." "Joint negotiations of state refiners with Russia are already happening," the source said.

Earlier, on the sidelines of the Russian-Indian summit during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Moscow, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, answering a question of TASS, said that Russia and India are considering the possibility of concluding a long-term agreement on oil supplies, as both countries are interested in it.

Indian newspaper The Economic Times reported, citing sources, that such a long-term agreement would ensure stable and uninterrupted supplies at prices attractive to India.
