Before Nigeria can claim to have some mandate to suppress alleged terrorism emanating from Niger perhaps Nigeria should deal with its own internal problem of Fulani herders and other Muslim groups terrorizing the Christians of Nigeria.

This is an essential information source that anyone interested in African countries' well-being would be well advised to read "and inwardly digest." Obviously France is upset because they depend on Niger for a large proportion of the uranium for the nuclear reactors that provide a large percentage of French electricity. A better move for the rest of the worlds' countries would be to facilitate a genuine dialogue between France and the new rulers of Niger about resuming the uranium sales to France.

That the west is trying to resort to proxy war, this time as the aggressors, is highly ironic given their demonization of the Russian Federation for starting a military operation intended to prevent the West from having a NATO ally on Russia's border in lands that have been historically part of Russia for hundreds of years. And in a country in which the lawfully elected President who leaned toward Russian Federation was overthrown in a coup backed by the USA in 2014. There the US is backing Ukraine in a proxy war, which has resulted in incredible amounts of death and destruction in Ukraine and death for soldiers of the Russian Federation.
