The 'defamation' allegation is typical of a US-backed rogue government. One of the reasons Mohammad Ali Jinnah got his Pakistan from the British is he was willing to let Pakistani territory to be used to spy on the Soviets, which the Indian Congress Party of Nehru, Patel and Gandhi were not. That 'original sin' continues to dog Pakistan to this day, with Imran Khan probably the one Prime Minister who defied US-led pressures to have his country's territory used for Pentagon/CIA activities. The current government obviously doesn't care that some 60,000 of its citizens were murdered by the US in drone strikes allegedly to fight terrorism. As long as their leaders - military and political - were getting bribes and weapons, 'collateral damage' in their own population was not relevant. PM Imran Khan also apparently refused to bow to US pressure and formally condemn the (US-NATO-provoked) Russian invasion of Ukraine...... so he 'had to go'. His ouster - an open coup d'etat by the US - is never mentioned in Western news.
