Many Non-Russian Pro-Russians in the Alt-Media Community might have sympathized with Prigozhin’s harsh criticisms of the special operation after Russia’s setbacks last year in Kharkov and Kherson Regions, not to mention the grinding Battle of Artyomovsk, but that’s no excuse for what he did.

This is not going to end well for Prigozhin, who is simply acting out of selfish interest and demented wishes for grandeur. Putin has alas been too nice and patient with him, this has got to end at once, and I'm confident it will. People in Rostov are already rallying in the street to talk with some of the deployed Wagnerites and telling them to obey the President. I don't see them doing otherwise in the end.
Thanks for the timely clarification, your take on what's going on there (which I happen to agree with).
"...his former chef..."
You've missed an 'i', I assume. (Not that it's important, just thought you might like to fix it before it gets archived and forgotten.)
"...Escobar’s reputation can still be salvaged if he repents and makes amends."
Let's not get into that here and now. There are more important things to worry about. The time will come.
"...analyzed at length in this piece here,..."
If you get distracted by told-you-so b*tchiness, it doesn't look good; almost as if you're more concerned about your personal standing and reputation than more important things. That would be beneath you. The time will come, it always does; it's not now.
Thanks, but I did mean chef since Prigozhin used to be Putin's caterer. Regarding the reference to my prior work, it's relevant since it concerns the larger context in which this event is taking place, and it's far too detailed to summarize. People should see for themselves what Putin recently said,, instead of just taking my word for it, hence the need to link to it.
Regarding Escobar, he's regard as one of the "godfathers" of the AMC and his work is read by tens of thousands of people.
Ignoring the impact it has on shaping perceptions, including when he shares factually disproven assessments, would be dishonest of me.
I live here and have to face the consequences of whatever happens, unlike him and many others. I love Russia and will always defend it from charlatans.
Escobar was out of line with what he wrote and was just humiliated by recent events. I'm not going to ignore that when it's directly relevant to what's happening.

Yeah, I see him on Global Research fairly often; rarely chase it any further, though.
"I love Russia and will always defend it from charlatans."
We're on the same side.
"...just humiliated by recent events."
Будь выше.
"...Prigozhin used to be Putin's caterer."
Oh right, I get it; didn't know that. My duh — sorry.
"...it's relevant since it concerns the larger context in which this event is taking place..."
Fair enough — your call.
"...see for themselves..."
Yeah, time and place, though. It's the 'optics', as you say.
But, hey, you know what you're doing.
I don't want to waste your time or cramp your style.
(And I'm sure I don't.)
No worries McDodd!
You can call me Мик (бывший Мишуля, not 'Mike').
As in 'McDonald's', ironically — 'MickyD's'.
Yeah, new irony: 'Prigozhin is not my chef,'.
