Radek Sikorski, husband of arch-NeoCon American/Polish Ann Applebaum, certainly was disappointed to see Donald Trump successfully win a second term. The Poles probably have the 2nd largest number of battle-ready military troops (after Türkiye), yet have pressured the US to station half of the US European troops in Poland (as well as nuclear-capable missile systems), as a result of their fear of Russia.

The Polish fears have not deterred them from providing quite a few military "volunteers" (of many ranks) to fight in Ukraine. Reports indicate that hearing Polish spoken in the communication traffic in the Ukraine is only exceeded by Ukrainian and Russian transmissions. Poland is one of the more important way stations for NATO equipment (and people) making its way to Ukraine.

IOW, there is a lot of evidence that Poland has been one of the few NATO allies that are involved in the Proxy War on a daily and continuing basis, so that setbacks to Ukraine are felt by the Polish Govt. (the actual population is less gung ho).

The point was to get assurances that Ukraine would not be cut off Starlink. Sikorski and Tusk got what they wanted.

At what cost?

Public professing is not an assurance.

(Playing devil's advocate here)

It's probably all they can realistically get.

The comments made by Poland were a bit shocking to say the least. Considering should they play their cards right it would mean a financial boon for Poland with the strengthening US ties. The people of Poland may think a bit differently than their leaders though as they are the ones suffering with the influx of Ukrainians who left the war torn country and long for the end of this war so they can go back. It seems the liberal gloabalists are playing every card they have left foolishly attempting to bring the US back into this fray. Europe needs this war. This is a “who blinks first” situation. Countries are headed towards financial collapse and if Europe collapses first it allows the US to follow with the blame going squarely on Europe bringing down the world economy. We are in an “outlast” situation and not one media outlet is talking about it at all. Shameful how we are all being fed a false narrative which benefits the rich who are all in the know. Gear up people. Buy Bitcoin and Gold and Silver. There’s not much time left.

Many top Polish analysts now (and have even before the RU-USA détente for some time) maintain that the time window for any U.S.-backed Polish Intermarium has passed. USA and Russia having talks in Riyadh about the security architecture in Europe violates one of the top two commandments of the Polish grand strategy: keeping Russia out of the European security system. Historically, this leads to Poland being sacrificed/extorted to settle disputes between Russia and the Western powers. Hence we see Poland declaring unwillingness to send troops to Ukraine or close military supply corridors to Ukraine. We'll be seeing Poland insubordinate in various ways, playing all sides from now on, unless the West will manage to put their own people in charge who will play along and make Poland a sacrificial pawn again, just like on eve of WW2.

The best response would have been to shut off the internet. They should do it anyway.
